Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing alright but I have to say that this weather is making me very tired. It has been very cloudy and rainy most of the day and we just got a pretty good thunderstorm. Both pups are scared right now. It is 4:30 pm and it feels like it is 10 pm. Mark just got home from his office about 30 minutes ago. He is now on the phone with his 2nd job. Mom really hasn't done much today. I straightened out my closet in the bedroom, I cleaned up my office from the weekend, I got 3 boxes together to be shipped out tomorrow, I put away laundry, sent emails out, made calls and now I am writing to you my sweet precious son. Mom is sorry that I took the weekend off from writing to you on here. I talked about you all weekend so I do hope that you heard me. Our weekend was busy so let me tell you about it.

Saturday~ We were supposed to have brought Meme to a couple stores that she has been wanting to go to but Bob was not doing all that great so we changed the plans. Mark and Mom went out and ran errands. We went to the post office and to 3 or 4 stores before hitting the grocery store. We left at 11 am and got home at 2:30 pm. Mom put the groceries away, we had an early dinner and then it took Mom about 4 hours to put all kinds of stuff away that we purchased. The weather was so warm...102 degrees in the shade again...no one wanted to move fast at all. We had a guy show up at 6 pm to get a freezer that he wanted. We called it a night and Mom and Mark crashed around 9:30 pm.

Sunday~ We were up early. We fed the pups, walked them and then Mom went outside and swept the front and back. I cleaned all the chairs and sprayed peppermint oil on them (that helps keep the spiders and bugs away) and then I got into my swimsuit and went in the pool. I did laps and swam. It was great. The water was 84 degrees and just right. I was loving it. It started raining after a couple hours so I went inside and made a potato salad for us to have for dinner. It stopped raining when I was making the salad and when I was done with dishes and clean up, I went outside and it started again...it was raining so hard. Mom was soaked in a matter of seconds so I said whatever and went back in the pool for a bit. The rain let up after about 20 minutes and the sun came out. I swam some more for about an hour and then I was cold so I dried off and came inside for a couple hours before we needed to feed the pups and get dinner going. Mom took a hot shower and basically did nothing really. I was tired and sore so I relaxed. Mark played his video game with his brother online again...seems to be a pattern again...ugh...then at 4 pm we fed the pups, walked them and then Mom prepped dinner. We did a cookout with hamburgers, hotdogs, pork chops and the salad I made earlier. For dessert we roasted marshmallows. Oh Tyler, Mark burnt the hot dogs just for you and the marshmallows as well. Mom thought of you the whole time. We laughed and I cried a bit but no one saw me. I miss the times we used to do that. You loved it and so did Mom. I miss you...PERIOD! I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. 

Monday~ That is today! It is the 14th of June. Flag Day here in the United States and it is also the day that Mark and Mom went out on our first date 9 years ago! It is also Charlie and Marion's 7th wedding anniversary today as well. Mom doesn't talk to Marion anymore and hasn't in almost 2 years. Charlie and I just started talking again through texts about a month ago. He was telling me that he goes and sees you, clears your resting space for Mom. I didn't know that but I do now. That was nice to hear. He misses you a lot but I guess you knew that as you see him and you hear what he talks to you about. You always liked Charlie. I see that you have a bunch of fake flowers near your bench....I have asked Charlie to clear them and clean the space up for Mom. I saw a picture and it really doesn't look nice at all. I hope you don't mind. I want your space to look good. I miss going and sitting on your bench and talking to you. Mark and Mom are thinking of coming up there in the Fall to visit and surprise Grandpa for a couple days. I definitely will be going to see you for sure when I am there. I will keep you posted, pumpkin. Tonight will be nothing but feeding the pups, walking them if they go outside in this rain. We are getting a pretty good storm still so not sure if they will go out or not. Mom is looking for a rainbow because at times the sun is shining. After that, it will be dinner for us and relaxing for the rest of the evening as it is going to rain until 10 pm. The pups will be shaking and it is going to be a very long night. We are in for it again all day tomorrow too. Fun times...not! Anyways... Mom will light the candle for you this evening and whisper to you as I always do. Smile when you hear me and I will smile back to you. Have fun while I sleep. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Please continue to watch over us. Keep us safe and healthy. Also, this week will be rough for Mom so if you could send a few signs, I would love it. Thank you. Mom has to go for now as it is 5 pm. Time to start the night routine. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams.
