Dear Tyler,
Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Monday evening? Mom has had better days but I am doing a little bit better than earlier. Mom has not been feeling all that well today. It came on this afternoon all of a sudden. I hope that I will be feeling better by the time I go to bed so that I can get a goods night sleep. That is another thing that has been an issue...Mom has not been sleeping all that well either. Boy....Tyler.... Mom is in need of your help. Can you please be with Mom so that whatever is going on I can shake it & keep it away from me? Thanks!
Today the weather was cold & overcast. Sunday it was 57 degrees & rain all day & today the temp was just barely 20 degrees. I heard that tomorrow the sun will be shining so maybe just maybe that will brighten my spirits a lot & I can have a productive day. Mom is sorry that I didn't write to you last night but Mark & I were out all day running errands, grocery shopping, Christmas shopping. We got home & I put everything away & then started dinner, ate & did dishes. By the time I was finished it was about 7 pm & I finally sat down to relax for a couple hours. I was in bed early as well.
I have a few updates for you.... Stacey is doing better. Her & Ellis were at the doctors today having routine blood work done. She is doing well & walking with crutches right now. She either is starting or has been in rehab. She is in excellent spirits & that is amazing considering what she has gone through. Her Dad, Bill had a stroke a few weeks ago. He was doing good & went to rehab where there was a set back & he had another stroke. That left him unable to move or speak. It was pretty bad from what we were told. Today, however, we were told that he was going to be able to go home in a day or 2 & be home for Christmas. That was wonderful to hear. He is such a nice man. I am so happy for him & the entire family. Mark finally has a slow week after having a couple busy ones. That is a good thing. He hasn't been feeling all that well either. He needs to take better care of himself too. Mom will do a little studying this week as I have got everything all set to go up North on Friday. Everything is all packed for Christmas, the dogs & I just have to get my clothes ready. Won't take long at all....I am ready to head " back home " for a couple days. It has been 6 months since I have seen many. I hope the weather is good so that I can spend some time visiting you. I would love to just sit on your bench & just talk to you. I have been watching the weather to see what is the best day for that. I will keep you posted. Mom hasn't heard any new updates about Uncle Dick in the last 2 days but I will check in with Aunt Jacqui & Andrea tomorrow. Also, Aunt Shirley had a doctors appointment today as well...I am awaiting to hear about that too. That is all I have for you tonight. Here is the daily prayers I need catching up on though.... December 18~ Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity & cleanse me from my sin. O Lord, who hast mercy upon all, take away from me my sins & mercifully kindle in me the fire of thy Holy Spirit. Take away from me the heart of stone & give me a heart of flesh, a heart to love & adore thee, to follow to delight in thee, to follow & to enjoy thee, for Christ's sake. He chose us in Christ.... to be holy & blameless before him in love....In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace that he lavished on us. Amen.
December 19~ Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his bidding, obedient to his spoken word. Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will. At this time of year, almighty Father, I think of the angels who put this psalm into practice one night in the skies over Bethlehem. They truly blessed you, Lord, singing, " Glory to God in the highest. " What an amazing sight that must have been! And how I'd love to hear the sounds of that celestial choir! Maybe someday, when we're all in the heaven together, I'll ask them for a repeat performance. Lord, I thank you for the ministry of those angels, who delivered to humanity the most important message ever. Then an angel of the Lord stood before them & the glory of the Lord shone around them & they were terrified. But the angel said to them, " Do not be afraid. " Amen.
Mom is all caught up again. It is getting late. My eyes are tired & getting heavy. I want to go relax for a bit before I try to fall asleep. Mom hopes that your evening is made up of all the things you need to do, want to do & so much more. Have fun while I sleep & hope you have a couple of adventures along the way. Come visit me if you can. I sure would love that. I will whisper to you later so be listening out for my voice. Smile & Mom will too. Remember you are forever in my heart, mind & soul. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. I miss you so much. I love you to infinity & beyond. Unconditional love forever my sweet precious son! Good night & sweet dreams. Until tomorrow.....
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
P.S. Thank you to all in the United States, France, Germany, Portugal, Poland, Yemen, Australia, Spain, Kenya & Indonesia for following my letters to my son. It means the world to me. Many blessings to you & your family.
