Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing better than I was yesterday. I went to be around 9:30 pm & slept until 6:30 am. Only got up once during the night & fell right back to sleep. Mom needed it badly as I was running low on energy from the past several nights with hardly any sleep. Today has been a pretty good day. Got right up this morning & made Mark & I some breakfast, then made homemade banana bread, did all those dishes & then went downstairs & cleaned the inside of the Rogue & vacuumed it out. It needed it with all the puppy hair from the weekend. Now it is smelling really good again! after that Mom got ready & then took the pups out for a nice little walk. The weather today is beautiful. Sunny, blue skies, cool temps! Nice Fall day. Mom will be prepping dinner pretty soon as it is already 3 pm & dinner will take a bit tonight so I wanted to write to you now. The only thing that is not going in our favor is that Mark went to move our other vehicle & it will not start. That is not a good thing because it looks like we will have to put this one in the shop, pay a bunch of money again to fix it & also be down to one vehicle for all that time. This is happening to us way too much. It seems like it is usually 3 to 4 times per year for the last 3 years. If there is anything you can do regards to helping us out, Tyler... Mom would appreciate it so much. Thank you, pumpkin.
 On the news they are still reporting new information on the shooting in Vegas. The numbers of ones that lost their lives & are seriously injured keep going up. Just heart wrenching to watch it all. There are still folks in Puerto Rico & the Islands, Florida & Texas that are still dealing with all the destruction from the two hurricanes as well. Too much sadness in the world right now. There have also been a couple of things happening to music artist.... Marilyn Manson got seriously injured on stage while performing at one of his shows when a prop fell on him & last night a rock legend, Tom Petty passed. Like Mom said yesterday... so much craziness in this world today. A quote from a song that Mom knows goes like this " Somethings wrong with the world today, don't know what it is. " I hope it gets better sometime soon. We could all use a little happiness in the world. 
 Not much else to update you on. Grandpa & Debbie are doing well & having fun but Debbie said that Grandpa is really not sleeping much since they went away. Hope they get some sleep & they are careful when they drive home tomorrow. Please watch over them. Thank you. Meme & Bob are doing well. I know you are watching over all of us. It means so much to us, Tyler. Mark & mom are going to go on a road trip tomorrow morning to a store that Mom has seen on the computer. I want to check it out & see what it is all about. It will be nice to get out for the day. Vacation will be coming to an end for Mark in a couple days & then he is back to work. We also will have to making some important decisions within the next couple weeks as well. We will see how that all turns out. Mom will keep you posted. I know that whatever will happen will be what is in the best interest for us at this time. Mom is learning to embrace change. It sometimes not so easy but I am learning not to question it so much now. Mom wishes that I could have learned this years ago though. Think that is it for today but here are a couple prayers for you for the day: May you abound in spiritual discernment in the days ahead. May you know when God is asking you to shore up your faith and stand strong, and when He's inviting you to hide under the shadow of His wing. May you quickly discern the enemy's schemes and stay clear of the traps he sets for you. In spite of your mistakes, missteps, and misunderstandings, may you never doubt your worth and your value. You're someone God loves, treasures, anoints, and appoints. He'll show Himself strong in your weakness, faithful in your fears, and merciful where you fall short. Walk wisely with Him today. There's a best place, a best path for your feet. Take every step with Him. He's got you.
  May you wrap your arms around the ones you love, look them in the eyes, and tell them how much you treasure them. May you look around, take notice and give thanks for all the blessings you'd miss if they went away tomorrow. When you're tempted to indulge in melancholy or discontentment, may you instead bow low, raise your hands, and thank God for His daily and divine intervention in your life. May your humble gratitude give you keen spiritual insight. May you use your spiritual armor to foil the plans of the enemy and to stand in the gap for the vulnerable. Listen when Jesus speaks. Pray, and He'll move. Rest well tonight.
 Mom found a few things that I wrote today on my facebook page on what I have learned & thought I would share just a couple with you on here tonight about things I have learned through the years. Here are a few of them:
 Don't let the little things get to you
 No one is perfect, thank God!
Never walk away mad from a loved one
Your gut is ALWAYS right!
Money doesn't buy happiness
If you want to change your life, then you have to change the people you hang around with
Spend time with people who support & believe in you
People change & so do relationships
Friend come & go
Don't compare yourself or try to be someone else
The magic of life & relationships: They're always evolving
You can't connect the dots going forward; you can only connect them looking backwards
Life is a solo trip, but you will have lots of visitors, some are long-term, most aren't
 Those are just a few for now. I will write more on tomorrows letter. 
 Mom hopes that you evening will be all that you need & want it to be. I am sure that once again you will be very busy tonight comforting many people that need it. If you have the chance, please come be with Mom. I need you. I always will. I will whisper to you later this evening so be listening for Mom's voice. Smile & Mom will smile back to you my sweet precious son. I will be back again tomorrow with another letter to you. I miss you so much & I love you more than anything. To the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are Mom's hero & the wind beneath my wings. You forever live inside my heart, mind, body & soul. I will light a candle again tonight for you, for our family & friends & all the ones who lost their lives in Las Vegas. Hope you see the candle burning bright for all of you that are sweet Angels now. Good night & sweet dreams.... You are my shining star!
