Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing alright. Today is technically a holiday here in the United States as it is Columbus Day but Mark had to work all day so no holiday for him at all. He has been on the phone all day with conference calls. Some seem to be pretty trying from what I can hear. Not sure what kind of night that will lead us to tonight though...lol. Not the way you want to go back into your 1st day after a 2 week vacation. Mom had every intention of studying today but that did not happen for various reasons so I will do my very best to start it tomorrow. Mom was up early this morning & made breakfast, did laundry & got ready. The pups did not want to go for a walk as it was raining so hard & heavy that they went on the balcony to see & came right back in because they don't like the rain...lol. Mom will try again later t see if they want to go. Mom was also on the phone as well for most of the afternoon with Auntie Kristina. we were catching up as we have not spoken in about 2 weeks. After I got off the phone with her I had to make a couple other calls & now I am writing to you! For the most part it has been a busy day & Mom can't believe that it is already 4 pm. In about 0 minutes I will have to be starting the night routine stuff for the pups & Mark & I. Mom is kind of thankful that tonight is left over beef stew for dinner as I really have no desire to cook tonight! It is just one of those days. Maybe it is because I baked & cooked all day yesterday. who knows...lol!
 Today Mom doesn't have much to update you on as the phone has been pretty quiet but I can tell you that today is Debbie's Birthday! Mom wished her a happy day but didn't get to her in time before she left for work. I did leave a message & told her I would call her on Wednesday to chat & we would celebrate her day when they come here for a visit on the 21st. Grandpa & Debbie are going to come down on that Saturday for a day trip so that will be nice to see them as it will have been 3 weeks since their wedding! Other that that I am sure i will hear from Meme tomorrow at some point & I will update you on all that stuff when I know of things. Here is your daily prayer for the day though:
  May God bless your eyes so you begin to see everyone and everything redemptively. May God bless your ears so you'll only hear words consistent with His voice and His song over your life. May God bless your heart that you may be a wellspring of life for others. And, may God bless your hands and feet that you may tend to His business during your time on earth.  Mom hopes that tonight you will have a wonderful & peaceful evening doing all the things you want & need to do. I know you will be shining bright for someone who needs it! Mom will see nothing shining in the sky tonight as the weather is still really crappy. Raining all day & the clouds are all gray. The temperature is nice though... low 70's so that is good. Maybe tomorrow night I will get to see the stars & moon shining plus perhaps a painting in the sky from you as well???? Putting my request in a day ahead! The weather tomorrow is suppose to be in the 80's & very bright & sunny. Mom will be happy about that indeed! Have fun while I sleep tonight. If you can come be with Mom or visit me in my dreams tonight. I always like that. Help Mom get some sleep again tonight as well. Thank you so much my sweet precious son. It means the world to Mom. I miss you more than words can say & I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You will always be my wind beneath my wings & my hero. You are my shining star & you will always live inside my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom will be back tomorrow night with another letter so until then....good night & sweet dreams. Mom will whisper to you later tonight. Smile & I will smile back. I will light a candle for you as well. Hope you see it flickering for you!
