Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Thursday afternoon? Mom is doing okay. It has not been the best day overall so far though. Mom has been up since early this morning with Ozzy being sick. He has been sleepy & a cuddle bug all day long & Princess is not feeling so great either. Not sure what is going on right now. Mom wanted to take a couple minutes to write to you now & then I will be getting off the computer to go snuggle with them on the couch. Neither of them even wanted to go for a walk today so I know they are not feeling good. Hopefully some snuggles will help them get some rest & get to feeling better. Mark went to the office again today so it has been really quiet here. Mom had a few things that I wanted to do today but I will not get a chance to do them as I want to be with Ozzy & Princess. I will get to them tomorrow. No big deal. Tomorrow is already Friday again & Mom really needs to be working on her studies. I need to get a full day in tomorrow. I have a couple days next week as well to hopefully get this class over with. I would like to see it be done by New Years. I need to put this all behind me & just move forward. Mom's fingers are crossed. last night Mom got a text from Bean. That was such a nice surprise. We are going to try to get together sometime next week so that I can give her, her Christmas & Birthday gift. Aunt Beck also texted me. I spoke to Grandpa & Debbie & also Meme last night as well. Everyone seems to do doing alright. Just a busy time of the year. Debbie got told that she had Christmas & New Years off so that works out awesome! We can all relax & just have a nice day without rushing. Mom is getting excited to give everyone their gifts. I am also happy that I get my closet back soon...lol! Mom didn't even realize that it is next weekend that we are heading up to NH. Time I guess has escaped me. So much is going on. Mark got a text message from his brother, Gary saying that he is in the hospital. I guess he has been having bouts of passing out randomly. He did it again last night & ended up waking up in the hospital. That is not cool at all. They are going to run some tests to see what is going on. Mom will keep you posted. Mark is a little shaken up about it all as his brother is out in California. Mom is hoping that he will be alright. That is all the updates that I have for you today. The nights have been quite quiet with having dinner, watching a movie & then going to bed. Mom likes it that way & could totally get used to it. I wish that we could watch movies again though. I miss our talks, all our time together my sweet precious son. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You have been & always will be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You forever live in my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom is hoping that you have a peaceful & restful night tonight. May you do all the things you need to do & also the things you would like to do. If you have time & can... could you come be with Mom & stay with her so that I get some sleep? If you want to as well, please come visit me in my dreams too. Mom loves it when you do. Thanks pumpkin.
Mom was not prepared with a saying for the day but I will say this: This time of the year with the Holidays approaching, it is extremely hard for some as they have lost loved ones, pets, jobs, houses, etc.... for some the Holidays are anything but cheerful. I hope that everyone will take the time & show kindness to all. We don't know everyone's personal story. A small act of kindness in our eyes may not seem like a lot but to that person it will be everything. If you can, pay it forward. Give to a charity, a church, the homeless or somewhere that is close to your heart. Mom gives to many this time of the year. It makes my heart sing with happiness that I can help others. It really puts a smile on my face. It makes me feel good too.
Before I end my letter to you today, Mom will write the prayers to you. Here they are:
May you begin to live more by faith than you do by sight. May you trust with your whole heart that God has already gone ahead of you, cleared the way, established grace, and answered prayers before you even fully understood just what you'd needed. Jesus is profoundly invested in your journey. He merely spoke, and the heavens came to be. He speaks now on your behalf because He loves you and is invested in you. Don't look around for signs. Look up and rejoice because He's got you. Live by faith today, because one day, your faith will become sight and you'll be glad you trusted Him. Have a sturdy-hearted day. You're mighty in God!
May Jesus tilt your chin upward so you can sense His smile and more clearly hear His voice. May He speak a surprising word of encouragement to you so you have the strength to keep marching onward. May He build a bridge where you least expect one. May He connect you with others who see the best in you. May you steward this training season with clarity, purpose, and conviction. May the things you've been hoping for and praying for culminate into one glorious answer that takes your breath away. And may your faith become sight sooner than later. He's making a way where there's been no way. You can trust Him.
For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it (Isaiah 43:19 NIV)?
Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Right now I am going to get off the computer & go snuggle on the couch with the pups. Mom will whisper to you later so smile when you hear my voice & Mom will smile back to you my sweet bright shining star. Good night & sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
