Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is having an alright day although I am quite tired as I did not get a whole lot of sleep like I was hoping to last night. Maybe tonight will be better for Mom. As usual I was awake early & got things going to start the morning. Mom kind of lounged around for a bit though sifting through emails & playing a game for a bit until I was completely awake. When I was I got up, made breakfast & then got ready. We took the pups out for their usual morning walk. It sure was cold out there & actually it was snowing when we went out. It was pretty I will give it that. When Mom came back in I got right on studying. I have been able to write a presentation of something that I like & then turn that presentation into a 2 slide power point. Bet you can't guess what I wrote about.... I wrote about Paris! After I am done writing to you Mom will go into her student website & start the exam. My goal is to submit this exam & then start working on the next 2 chapters and hopefully submit another exam by the end of the week. Mark is crazy busy with his work so that gives Mom a lot of time to herself & what better way to use that time up! I have 2 more exams before my final in this class. I am hoping to get through it all within the next couple weeks & after the new year take my final. We will see if that is going to happen.
Last night Mom & Mark watched the football game. What a nail bitter it was but in the end the Cowboys lucked out & won just by slim margin over the Raiders. They were pretty lucky because in the 2nd half of the game the Raiders were kicking their butts. That game got over almost at midnight. Long game indeed but it was fun to watch. Mom got the chance earlier to chat with both Meme & Grandpa. All is well with them. They are working, staying busy with getting things done for Christmas & keeping tabs on the weather. They are all excited that we will be there in 5 days. We haven't seen them at all in almost 3 months. Doesn't seem like a long time but it really is to me. You know that family is everything to Mom. Always has & always will be. Mark & Mom leave on Saturday. There is so much to do between now & then & so much to make sure we do not leave anything behind. The Rouge will be packed to the max. I think the pups will have to lay on our laps the entire trip up there because there will be no room for them in the back seat...lol. Mark is working tomorrow night so I will be getting a lot of the stuff together while I am home. It will keep me busy tomorrow night. Mom will pack her bag & get the pups stuff together as well. On Friday I will be getting everything out of my closet so I can double check everything to be packed up. It sure will be an interesting drive up to NH. Least the truck won't be so packed on the way coming home though....or it shouldn't be!
Tonight will be a relaxing night & an early night to bed as Mark has a very long day ahead of him. Mom has a nail appointment as well & then needs to go to the grocery store to grab a few things then I will be back to do so much stuff at night. Mom & Mark still need to make the gingerbread house as we still have not done that yet. Last night Mom was not feeling the greatest so we decided to put it off for the night again. Maybe tonight after dinner we will do it. Shouldn't take long & then we can go to bed. It will give us something to do other than watch TV. That gets boring after a while. You know that all too well. That is all the updates I have for you today. I will continue to fill you in on everything when I know of things. Here is the daily prayer of the day:
May you refuse to strive for appearance sake because you're established for Jesus' Namesake. You are loved, treasured, appointed, and anointed. You're free to climb mountain heights with joy and free to stumble and fall without the condemnation. Jesus was born in a manger; He was a friend of sinners; He's the Prince of Peace. Know His love. Trust His heart. Be yourself. And do only what He asks you to do. Enjoy the season and have a heart-at-rest sort of week! He's got you!
Here is the saying for the day as well:
I've Learned~ I've learned a lot this year....I learned that things don't always turn out the way you planned or the way you think they should. And I've learned that there are things that go wrong that don't always get fixed or get put back together the way they were before. I've learned that some broken things stay broken & I've learned that you can get through bad times & keep looking for better ones, as long as you have people who love you.
Wow it is already 3 pm & the night sky is almost upon us. It is already getting dark in here. This is crazy. I never remember it getting so dark so early like this before. The days just seem so short. Daylight is very few hours now...maybe 8 hours. Mom can't wait for it to go back to being light out until 9 pm. Anyways.... Mom needs to get going so that I have a little bit of time to do my typing for my exam & then get things going for dinner prep. I will be back tomorrow night with another letter to you though. I will whisper to you as I always do every night so be listening for my voice. Smile for Mom when you hear me & I will close my eyes & visualize your sweet smile that I miss so very much. I just miss you & everything we used to do. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You, my sweet precious son, are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You will always live inside my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom hopes you have a great night doing all kinds of wonderful things. Come be with me if you can. Thanks pumpkin. Good night & sweet dreams my bright shining star.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
