Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing alright today. I have been up since 7 am & on the go all day. I was up & ready & out the door at 10 am. I needed to go get gas, go to the bank & then go get my nails done. I was actually early for my appointment so I decided to go look in a couple stores to make the time go by faster. I was done with my nails at 1 pm or a little after & I was home by 2 pm. When I got home I took the pups for a walk because they were so good while I was gone & the weather here was 51 degrees today! It was cloudy & overcast but still it was so nice to not be so dang cold. When we were done with our walk, Mom did some house cleaning...dusting & vacuuming. I did laundry the other day & I will do it again on Friday. I was also able to finish bagging up the rest of the gifts that I needed to. Now I am writing to you. Mom can't believe that it is already 4 pm. I still need to do a few things before I am able to sit down & relax for the night. I will feed the pups, have dinner myself & then I need to pack the pups bag & my bag for our trip on Saturday. I think I should be done by 8 pm or a little sooner to be able to watch a couple Christmas movies before Mark gets home tonight. He is working late tonight... that is why Mom is able to do all this stuff & just get it done. That way I do not have to worry about it later in the week.
Not much happened last night at all. Mom was disappointed that we did not do the gingerbread house like I thought we would. Mark worked again until 9 pm last night & then crawled into bed to finish watching a movie with Mom. He has worked so much this week. It is crazy & I feel really bad for him. Mom is hoping that tonight he will be home sooner than what he thought he would be. He needs to get some rest to go right back to work in the morning. Be be with him tonight when he is driving home. Keep him safe for Mom. Thanks Tyler. The phone was very quiet last night as well. No one called so it was just Mom & the pups hanging out. Mom will touch base with everyone either tomorrow or the next day. I just want to relax tonight since I have been on the go all day today. Be with Mom as well. Thank you my sweet precious son. Oh yeah.. did you see the ornament that I picked up today? It is a snowman that lights up that says I love my son. I sure do. It is in the kitchen right now. Hope it makes you smile as it did Mom.
The night sky is already approaching us. Hope the sky will be clear enough to see the moon & the stars shining bright. My lit a candle already. I whispered to you, did you hear me? I will whisper to you again later this evening as well. Smile for Mom & I will smile back to you too. Mom is hoping that your night will be filled with all kinds of things that you need to do & may want to do. Have fun while I sleep tonight. Come visit me if you can. Mom would love that. Always know that I miss you more than words can ever say & that I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body & soul.
Here is a saying for the day:
" Sometimes life doesn't give you what you want, not because you don't deserve it, but because you deserve so much more! "
Mom needs to get going so that I can do all the rest of the things that I need to do but I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. Until then.... Good night & sweet dreams my bright shining star!
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

P.S. Here are the prayers for the day:
May you cultivate a lifestyle that creates space for grace and growth. May you guard against toxic thoughts, attitudes, and mindsets that only weaken you. May you instead, fill your thoughts with all that's lovely, praiseworthy, and true. In the days ahead, may your intimate walk with Jesus inform your decisions, fuel your prayers, and magnify your love. Guard your thoughts and it’ll change your life. Have a wise and winsome day today!
Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it (Proverbs 4:23 NIV).

May you become an expert at caring for your soul. May you know when to tuck yourself under the shadow of God's wing and when to run to the battle line, knowing He'll fight for you. May you know when to rest and know when to work. May you refuse worry and embrace faith. May you become tenacious when it comes to the promises of God and tender when you think about His love for you. Stay in tune with God and you’ll stay in step with Him. Have a beautiful evening.
