Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Wednesday afternoon? Mom has been up since very early this morning & I believe that I have accomplished so much today. Mom was up & made blueberry muffins, did some laundry, got ready, took the pups out for a walk & then came in & started to study. I was able to do quite a bit today on my exam. I even squeezed in a call with Bonnie this afternoon. She is having a rough day as it is 5 years ago that she lost Larry, her husband. I remember that like it was yesterday. Mom was telling her that 2013 was a terrible year for us both 4 months & 13 days apart that she lost him & I lost you. Nothing will ever be the same for either of us ever again. We both do the best we can but there are just some days that it is incredibly difficult to still process. Mom was glad I got to chat with her. Maybe just maybe I was able to make her smile for a few minutes. We plan on chatting again tomorrow morning so that will be nice. Mark will be at the office all day so it will be very quiet here. Mom will do some housework in the morning ( dusting, vacuuming ) & then I will get to my studies for the day. Mom has already packed for myself & the pups so I don't have to worry about that for Friday. mark is the only one left to have to pack & he doesn't take long at all. Mom will probably pack the vehicle on Thursday night so nothing will have to be done Friday at all. We can just get in the vehicle & head up North. The weather is not suppose to be all that great so Mom is hoping that in the next 2 days it could change. Lots of snow up there for Friday & Saturday. Sunday is suppose to be a winter mix of sleet & freezing rain. Here it is suppose to be a gorgeous weekend. Sunny & in the 50's. Mom is sad that she will be missing that. Today the weather has been crazy. This morning when we went for our walk it was chilly & calm. 30 minutes later it was a complete white out with snow for a couple hours & now it is rain with sleet mix. Tomorrow it is going to be sunny & cold again. The weather is all over the place....lol. Mom is looking out the window & it looks super cold & nasty. Guess there will be nothing to see in the sky tonight. You can't even see the skyline in Boston it is so foggy. Mom hopes that everyone gets home safely tonight as in NH it is snowing a lot. I hear they have over 6" right now & it is still coming down for them. Grandpa & Debbie are home but Meme & Bean have to drive in that stuff. You know me... I am a worry wart!
Last night was a quiet night like I predicted. Watched a couple shows on TV & then was ready for bed at 10:30 pm. I was asleep before Mark was. I believe I did get good sleep. I woke up feeling that way despite the weather that was on the way. Tonight will be quiet as well. Mom will feed the pups, make dinner & relax for the evening. I won't call anyone tonight as I am sure they will be exhausted from shoveling & snow blowing all day long today. Mom will touch base with them tomorrow & I will be seeing them in a couple days too. I can't wait. I miss them all so very much. I miss you tons. I am always whispering that to you. I will whisper to you again later this evening so be listening out for Mom. Smile & I will smile back to you. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are my hero , my wind beneath my wings & the bright shining star in the sky for Mom. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom hopes that your evening in the heavens above will be peaceful & all that you want & need it to be. Come be with Mom or visit me in my dreams if you get the chance. Thanks pumpkin. Mom will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you so until then...Good night & sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
P.S. Today is Charlie & Uncle Gregg's Birthday... hope you go see them & send them a sign!
Here is the color of the day & it's meaning: Green: Those who favor green have a special connection to nature. It feeds your soul. Whether it is spending time in the garden or finding creative ways to bring the outdoors in, your favorite activities revolve around all that Mother Nature has to offer. You dislike chaos & strive for consistency & balance. You understand that time is money. Time management is a strength because you quickly prioritize. Business savvy is bolstered by your ability to target what is most important & delegate what is not. As a result, you rarely sweat the small stuff. You are environmentally aware & involved with community affairs. You have a knack for seeing the big picture & understanding multiple points of view. Others admire your clarity & respect your objective & fair outlook.
Here is the saying for the day: The best thing you could do is MASTER the chaos in you. You are not thrown into the fire, YOU ARE THE FIRE!
Here are the prayers for the day:
When you can't sense what God is up to, may you trust, even more, His heart towards you. When your journey is different than you would choose, may you see His invitation to make you new. When you the storm rages overhead, may you know-with everything in you-that new mercies are on the other side. And when you're tempted to overstate your problems and understate His promises, may you step back and find your footing again. On Christ the solid Rock you stand, all other ground is sinking sand. He is mighty to save and He is doing a new and beautiful thing in you! Embrace a joy-perspective this day!
May you embrace the healing process that God has in motion right now. You can trust Him. May you notice the daily graces He provides. They’ll make your burden lighter. May you refuse to stuff emotions that keep trying to surface. They’re trying to tell you something. May you refuse the quick fix. You’re made for the long-haul, not just for the moment. Healing is a process and it happens in steps. So take the next step. May you boldly imagine by faith the new levels of freedom that Jesus won specifically for you. That Promised Land is yours! Have a great evening.
