Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this beautiful sunny Friday evening? Mom is doing good! I have been busy all day long while Mark has been out to a class all day. I was up early, got ready and started studying by 11 am this morning. I was able to submit 2 more exams today and I received a 97 % and a 91 %! Mom is so happy with those grades. Out of 100 questions I only got 7 wrong! I think that calls for a celebration for sure! I know you are proud of Mom as well too. Thank you for being right by my side through it all day after day. I love you so much my sweet precious son. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my hero, my bright shining star and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will remain in my heart, mind, body and soul.
Mom does not have any new updates for you at all because the last 3 nights have been so quiet here with the phone not ringing at all. It has been nice in a way though because Mom has been so tired after studying all day that I am too tired to do anything at all. I take the pups for a walk and watch TV for an hour or so and then I am in bed. I will make sure to touch base with everyone this weekend though. We don't have much to do at all so I will have the time for sure. I can probably guess that Grandpa and Meme will call tonight though. My night is looking like eating dinner, which is almost done, taking the pups for a walk later and then relaxing with no electronics. Maybe TV later as well but just doing nothing at all will be nice for me. Perhaps a hot bath as well maybe in store!
Last night I was looking at the pictures that friends of mine took from their child's graduation. It was Claremont's graduation. That is where Mom graduated from. Good ole Stevens High School....Home of the Cardinals. Not sure when Fall Mountain has theirs though. I don't have anyone that I know of that is graduating from there. It is also your 10th year reunion but again Fall Mountain doesn't do that kind of thing like Stevens does. Tomorrow is the Alumni Parade. Next year will be 30 years for Mom being out of school. My class has already started the planning for it. Mom went to the 20th reunion and really I will never go again. I really didn't have that great of time. This time of year holds so many memories for Mom. June is one of the hardest months for me. I am trying my best to get through it though. Hope that I can make you proud. I miss you so much. More than words can say. That will never change. That is all that I have right now to share for updates and the "what's going on around here." I am sure to have some for you over the weekend though.
The sun is going to be setting here in about an hour. I am hoping to see a pretty one tonight. Hasn't been much of anything lately. I haven't seen the moon in quite a while as well. The next few days are suppose to be really sunny and warm so Mom is liking that very much. Rain for next weekend unless it changes and I sure hope it does. That is the weekend that everyone will be here. It would be nice to have the weather to be cooperating. Mom will light the candle for you in a bit. I have to start a new one as the other one is finished. I will whisper to you later as well. Have fun tonight while Mom gets some much needed rest. If you can, come visit me in my dreams or sit by me for a bit. Mom would love that. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. For now I must get going so that I can fold clothes and do a few other little things before I sit down to relax. Until tomorrow... good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hopes of the wicked come to nothing. Proverbs 10:28, NIV
Lord our God, we wait for you night and day. We believe in you and we long for your righteousness. You will answer our prayer. Bless us, we pray. May your name be kept holy and your kingdom come. O Lord our God, may your will be done among the nations. May your will be done in each of us and be plainly seen, as it is in heaven. Look upon the nations. Watch over all humankind. Let a new path be broken so that a peace that passes all understanding may come, a peace from you, the Lord our God. Amen.
