Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Happy Labor day to you. Mom and Mark have had a very relaxing day today just doing nothing at all. We actually lounged in bed until 11 am this morning with the pups. Mark was watching a movie and Mom played her game. I got up after that and made a nice brunch and then did the clean up. Mom did a few things around the apartment because when we were out yesterday I had bought a couple things to organize the pantry in the kitchen so I did that and then put a few more things away in my office. Pretty much after all that was finished I did something that I have wanted to do for awhile and just had no time and that was reorganize my pinterest page online. I did a lot of it but I still have some more to finish up but it is looking better than it did! Mark has been playing his game with his brother for a couple of hours now and he has been relaxing all day which is such a nice thing to see because he never gets to do that. Tonight Mom will make dinner, clean up after and then we are going to watch a movie or two before bed because tomorrow is Tuesday and that means it is back to the grind for him to work and Mom to be in school.
The weather today has been super warm...92 degrees. Tuesday and Wednesday will be 85 degrees and Thursday will be back to the 90's again. Mom is thinking this will be the last of those warm days until next year. The AC has been running all day long and we have had everything closed up in here. Just crazy. Mom is not complaining though as I like it all. We might sit outside for a bit tonight after dinner and have a glass of wine. Not sure so we will have to wait and see!
Last night was crazy busy. We have dinner late and had just enough time to eat before the skype call. Mom was actually doing dishes for the first 10 minutes of the call so that I could do all the clean up and then I joined in. It was nice to see Tubal and Karen because it has been about 1 month since our last chat. It was pretty good for the most part. We all laughed a lot but then we got hit with some sad news. Tubal's sister, Deloris (Mark's Aunt) passed away from her battle with cancer 2 weeks ago. Right around the same time Grammy did. Tubal was saying he was the last of the kids now. Everyone has past on. Second thing we found out was that Tubal had an eye appointment about a month ago and it was not good. He has the same thing that Grammy, Aunt Shirley and Grandpa has. It is called muscular degeneration. He is blind in one eye already and almost blind in the other. It was very sad to hear when he was talking. He said he could barely see us and that he is going to miss driving in the very near future. Mark and Mom have decided that we need to get to see him before he loses his complete eye site. Tubal is about where Aunt Shirley is with it. Mom will keep you posted on when we go to Ohio to visit. It will be before winter time hits. After the call, Mom spoke to Grandpa and Debbie. Things are good and they will be headed here in 4 days! Mom was bummed to find out that Meme and Bob will not be coming this time but that was their choice and I need to respect that. we will go back up there for a night in October when Debbie is half way through her recovery from surgery so that we can see them before the snow flies and of course we will be there for the holidays as well. Mom and Mark watched TV for the evening and then we went to bed around 11 pm. For the 3rd night in a row, almost asleep and fireworks went off and scared the pups. Princess went crazy and jumped on my head and scratched my ear. To say the least we did not get any sleep until after midnight and we were up at 7 am. Mom is really hoping that the fireworks stop now for the season and we don't have to worry about that again for several months. Time will tell on that one. Mom hasn't heard from Aunt Beck so I am guessing that she is pretty busy with work and maybe traveling. I will try to touch base with her this week though just to check in. Mom is pretty sure that Grammy and you among many others are watching over us all but especially Aunt Shirley. She is really in a bad place right now. The comments that she is making on social media are pretty scary. Mom is worried. I will do my part to check in on her. That is all that I have for right now. It is going on 5 pm and you know what that means.... time to feed the pups and get dinner going. Mom sure hopes that your evening is all that you want and need it to be. May you have fun while Mom sleeps tonight and if you can come visit me in my dreams. I would love that my sweet precious son. I miss you more than ever and I love you beyond any words could say. To the moon and back and all the way around the world. To infinity and beyond. You will always be Mom's hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. I have the candle already lit for the night. It has been burning now for about 4 hours and I will let it burn until I go to bed. I will whisper to you later as well so smile when you hear Mom and I will smile back.
A couple of the pictures tonight I needed to put on here as a friend of Mom's is at the ocean and shared it with this seal that is about 10 weeks old. He is adorable and it just reminded Mom of what you used to say and that was you were my baby seal. The pictures made me smile and I know you will as well. Tomorrow will be back to the Fall pictures though...lol. Mom needs to get going for now..... until next time....good night and sweet dreams my bright shining star.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer:

Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal. 2 Corinthians 4:16–18, NIV
Lord our God, we thank you that you come to help us with your power and might. We thank you that you come to us in our suffering and strengthen us in all we must endure on earth. You help us so that what is good and full of light comes more and more to us and to all people. We thank you and pray that your power, coming from the invisible world into the visible, may continue its quiet working in us until the day when everyone can see Jesus Christ, who is the same yesterday, today, and into all eternity. Amen.
