Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but it definitely has been a Monday for sure. The weather today is raining, cloudy and gray and looks to appear to be this way Tuesday and Wednesday as well. Hopefully Thursday the sun will come out. It has been this nasty weather for the last 2.5 weeks now and 2 days of it was sunny. Mom is really starting to feel the change in the weather pattern and it is hurting my entire face. I sure hope that we have some much needed sunny days and for a long period of time as well. Mom needs that Vitamin D! 
 Last night was a quiet night for us here. Mom and Mark was suppose to have a skype call with Tubal and Karen but at the last minute they got unexpected company so they asked to push the call back to either 9 pm or next week so we offered to do it next week instead. We ended up just relaxing for the evening by watching a movie and then calling it a night at 10 pm. Mom was so tired I was falling asleep on the couch. I was fast asleep within minutes of crawling into bed. I slept well too last night and was ready to go this morning but everything started falling apart around 8 am. Mom was getting email after email from our Real Estate Agent. Mom had emailed him yesterday afternoon letting him know that we were interested in a place so he did the calls needed and after about an hour he stated that on Saturday the sellers had 3 offers on their home and unless we could go see it today then that house was under contract and no longer an option. We couldn't do it today so we lost out. That was another bummer. We are continuing to look for a place no doubt about it but we are just hitting some snags in every direction along the way. It is tough but Mom keeps reminding herself that everything happens for a reason and not to question it at all. I know you are with us when all this is happening and I know you will direct us to where we need to be. Thank you my sweet precious son. Mom misses you so much and I wish you were here in the physical form still but I will take what I can get. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. 
 Mom got to speak with a good friend this morning for about 90 minutes and then also with Aunt Beck this afternoon for about an hour. I had to interview here for my class that I started today. I will be working on that and the first exam all week long. This course will take some time but I think I will do okay in it. 4 more to go after this! Be with Mom as I am getting closer to graduating! Thank you pumpkin! It was nice to chat with Aunt Beck and to hear about her profession now. I got a lot of insight to things that I didn't know that she was doing. All good stuff! Tonight will be a very early evening for us as Mark needs to go to bed by 9 pm because he has to get up at 4:30 am to get on the road to his customer sight for his cutover. He should be home by early afternoon. Mom will be here with the pups and making homemade beef stew for dinner tomorrow night and also working on my school stuff. I will have enough to keep me busy for sure! Mark will come home and go to bed for a bit so that will give me sometime to be quiet and do my things I need to do. It will all work out. Please be with him as he travels so that he is safe going there and coming home as he will be tired. Thank you for this, Tyler! Mom doesn't have any updates for you as I didn't chat with any family yesterday at all. I will have some though as the week goes on I am sure.
 BTW... Happy 1st day of October. 3 months until a brand new year again. This is crazy. Halloween is in 30 days, Thanksgiving is in 52 days, 76 days is Christmas and 83 days is a new year! Wow.... Mom can't get over that at all. It will be 2019. Dang! Mom is hoping that this month will bring sunshine and warm days and crisp nights. I am hoping that there will be very little rain. We need the nice whether because we know what is coming next. Mom will be posting the pup pics, a quote, a Halloween pic and then a memory pic every day this month for you. Some pics will be of Jack, some will be of your favorite candy you loved but all will be Halloween related. I sure hope you smile when you see the ones I post! Mom has had the candle burning all day for you so I hope you are seeing that. I will whisper to you later though so smile when you hear Mom and I will smile back to you. Enjoy your evening and hope you get to do all the things you want to and need to do. Come visit in my dreams tonight or be with me so that I can get some sleep. Thanks T! Lord our God, we thank you for your gospel, the great, good tidings we may carry in our hearts to give us joy in this present time, even though on all sides people are in anguish and agony. We thank you that your gospel fills our hearts with compassion, enabling us to help carry what many have to suffer. Show us our need of you so that we can receive your help. If we must be the first to suffer all kinds of pain and distress, may we do so joyfully because we have been promised blessing in the midst of all the pain. May we continually honor your name, praising you for the good news of your kingdom, for the promise that everything must work together for good through Jesus Christ the Savior. Amen.
