Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? It is already December 3rd. Time is going by so fast.....Mom is doing well and I have been so productive today and I am proud of myself. I went to bed quite early last night after the weekend that we had but I didn't really sleep all that well. I was up quite a bit. I finally got some sleep early this morning to only be woken up by Ozzy going after Princess while Mark was getting their food ready. Mom jumped out of bed and ran to the kitchen to see what was going on and what happened. Mark said it was all so fast that he didn't even know. Princess ran to me and I held her for about 20 minutes to calm her down and then I got her food and fed her on my lap. Ozzy knew he did wrong because he was moving quite slow and his head was hanging down. Neither of us understand why he does that to her. The rest of the day they have been laying together in the pup bed and they are just fine. Little P is so forgiving to him. One day he is going to get it back though by her or another dog. Hope he will be ready for that! Anyways.. the rest of the morning was making the bed, getting ready, making breakfast, doing the dishes and then I came right in and started on my studies. I managed to write out the answers to exam 5 and exam 6 and I actually submitted them. I looked them all over and I don't know what else I could change so I have to except whatever grade I get for them. Hopefully they will be passing grades. Tomorrow I will start my final exam but I can't do too much of it because I have to wait for my other 2 exams to be graded because I have to look at the comments and revise the questions again. There are 15 essay questions and 6 of them require revising. I will do what I can and then I will have to wait for the rest. This is the last exam and the course is over with! I can't wait. I am looking forward to the last 4 classes and to be done with it all so that I can move forward! Mom will let you know how I did on them when I get the grades posted. i know you will be right there with Mom through it all so thank you pumpkin!
This weekend was so much fun for us all...well all but one part of it. Saturday morning we were up and ready and waiting. Everyone got here around 10:45 am. Mom just had made muffins and put them in the oven to bake and a fresh pot of coffee was almost ready. Everyone came up and we gave them the tour of the new place. They loved it! We had muffins, coffee and visited for a bit before we all decided that we were going to go have lunch and then go shopping before coming back here for the evening and having pizza and playing poker. We left about an hour or so after they got here and we headed to a couple stores that Meme wanted to go to. Then we went to the grocery store to pick a few things up. Mom was driving Debbie's jeep and Mark was driving his. We were getting ready to go out to lunch when Mark called me and said that I needed to go over to where they were. I drove to them to find out that Mark was putting the groceries in the truck and his keys slipped out of his hands and into the manhole. There was so much water in it that the keys were not to be found. Yikes...what a mess! To say the least, Mom had to drive home, get the groceries in the apartment and then find the spare key for him and then drive back to give it to him and then drive home again. To say the least we never made it out to lunch at all, we ordered pizza and had it delivered. We ate and then played poker the rest of the night until 10 pm. We all went to bed and was up at 7 am - 9 am. Mom made a big breakfast...bagels, toast, 3 kinds of eggs, sausage, bacon, coffee, juice for us all. I did all the dishes after and then relaxed and visited with everyone before they had to go home. The weather was nasty yesterday too. It was a mix. Everyone left at 1:15 pm and arrived home around 4 pm. Mom did the 2 loads of laundry, cleaned the bathroom, mopped the floors and then vacuumed after they left plus we put our offices back together. It was a fun time and Mom cried when they left. I was so overwhelmed with emotions. I miss them so much and to have them here after not seeing them for 4 months was so hard for me. After everything was said and done, Mom watched a movie before having to prep for dinner. We ate and then I did those dishes and then I relaxed for the rest of the night. I was pooped...lol! We will be seeing them in a couple weeks for Christmas. We will be in NH for a couple days and then coming home. Mark made the decision not to go to Kentucky as he does not have the time off from work and we don't have the funds to go. It is sad and I know that he is upset that he has to make that choice but he is correct. Maybe after winter we can go there for a visit to see everyone for a longer time. Mom will suggest that to him.
Anyways... it is going on 4:45 pm and Mom needs to get the night stuff started. It needs to be an early night because tomorrow at 9 am people are coming to change out all the light bulbs in our apartment so Mom needs to be up and ready to take the pups out when it is our turn. Tonight will be relaxing and watching TV before bed. Mom hopes that your evening will be everything that you need and want it to be. Come visit if you can. I have the candle going for you and I will whisper to you later tonight. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I miss you so much my sweet precious son. I love you with all my heart and to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are inside my heart, mind, body and soul. I will be back tomorrow with another letter so until then.... good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, because of the tender mercy of our God, by which the rising sun will come to us from heaven to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace. Luke 1:76–79, NIV
Lord our God, we thank you that you let light shine out every day and every year. Thank you that we may always look to you, whose right hand will bring order into everything and set all things right, even in difficult times. May our hearts receive strength to persevere and go on praising you, for you remain, no matter what happens on earth. You are our God, you have sent us the Savior, and we can draw close to you. You have made us the firm promise that your day is coming when truth and justice will arise on earth to the glory of your name. May the hearts of many people turn to you so that they worship you and call to you for help, to the glory of our Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
