Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! Happy 1st day of December! Mom can't believe that November is over & winter is approaching very very soon! Christmas will be here in 24 days & a New Year will be upon us in 30 days! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but I sure have been a busy bee today! I was up early this morning getting things all already for Mark as he went to his office today, made breakfast, got ready, took the pups for a walk, went to the office to grab out packages & then came back home. Mom received a box that I had ordered but there was two of them so I was confused, I hopped on the phone to touch base with the company. I thought it was going to be a quick fix but I was on the phone with them for about an hour trying to figure everything out. I guess they sent me two boxes on accident & actually a neighbor in the complex ordered the same thing & I got theirs as well so back to the office I went & explained everything to them. Everything is now all set. I have mine & the other person will get theirs as well. This was the first time ordering so Mom didn't know what to expect. I love it & will enjoy future purchases from them as well! After all that was taken care of, Mom came back & started laundry & house cleaning. Laundry just got done so now I have the chance to write you your letter. It is already 2:37 pm & it is so dark. I guess it is going to rain. Earlier it was nice & sunny. Mom enjoyed the walk with the pups. There was wind but not bad today. Now it is just super dark, cloudy & yucky out there. I will need to put a light on in a few minutes so that I can see what I am doing, that is how dark it is.
Last night was very quiet here. Mark & Mom had dinner & then we watched TV for most of the night. Mark didn't really feel all that well last night so we laid low & just relaxed. Mom played a game while we were watching the football game. It was the Cowboys vs Redskins. Cowboys finally won that game! No one called so the phones were quiet which was a nice change. Mom went to bed early but really didn't sleep all that well. Hopefully tonight I will. I could use some solid sleep. This weekend we are hoping to just go grocery shopping & then have fun shopping for Christmas. we have a few more things to pick up & then we will be done completely. Mom will also take time over the weekend to get things wrapped so that I can get into my closet. Right now, I can't. It is jammed packed with gifts for our family & friends. Mom said she was not going to go overboard this year but you know me... I did again just like I do every year! Yesterday I spoke to Aunt Beck for a few minutes. That was nice to have her call. Everything is good. she just wanted to tell Mom something really quick. Meme called me today on her break. Things are okay. Her & Bob have a busy weekend I guess. She wants or needs to go shopping. Bob is doing about the same health wise. He will be starting a new med Meme said so hopefully things will change for the better. My fingers are crossed. Please watch over us all, Tyler. I know you do all that you can & Mom appreciates it so much. Thank you my sweet precious son. I think that is all I have for updates for you today. Here are a couple sayings for the day for you:
" You get what you focus on, so focus on what you want. "
" The truth is, no matter what your current circumstances, if you can imagine something better for yourself you can create it. "
" One of the best lessons you can learn in life is to master how to remain calm. "
Mom needs to get going so that I can do some of my studying & then start the night routine. Not sure what time Mark will be getting home but if I can guess it will be on the later side. Mom is hoping that your evening with be filled with all the things you need to do & want to do. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Thanks pumpkin! I will be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you. Always know that you are loved & missed beyond any words could express. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are in my heart, mind, body & soul.
Here is the pray for the day before Mom forgets:
May God grant you a special grace this holiday season. May unrealistic expectations fall by the wayside and may faith for the impossible rise up within you! May a heart at rest replace the typical holiday stress. May God heal family rifts, bring prodigals home, and provide laughter around your table. May you embrace a focused, purposeful heart this season, one that so speaks of Christ’s life within you that others slow down and ask you what you know. Have a blessed and beautiful weekend.
Good night & sweet dreams. You are my shining star!
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
