Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! Happy Groundhog Day to you! the dang groundhog, Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow so that means 6 more weeks of winter! I think there are several people who would like to play Wack-a-mole with Phil...lol! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom is doing alright. Pretty tired today as last night I did not get much sleep. Mark's remote cut over went until after midnight & neither one of us got to sleep until after 1 am. We were also woken up at 6 am to plows. Yup, it snowed again last night here. Poor Mark is sick now with a sore throat, fever, running nose & sneezing. He was trying to relax all day long but he couldn't as he had to work. Mom is hoping he will take it easy this weekend so that he can feel better by next weekend for our 3 day getaway. Mark is suppose to go out for the day tomorrow with a friend of his but I really hope he decided to just stay home & relax. Mom will be going out for a few hours tomorrow to get my nails done & do grocery shopping but then I will be back home to hopefully take care of Mark. This flu is going around like crazy & Mom does not want to get it at all. Grandpa is doing better & Debbie actually sounded a little better last night as well. Mom has been calling nightly to check in on them to see how they are doing. Meme is doing better but is still really tired & poor Bob says he is doing pretty good when you ask him but Meme says he is not doing very well at all. They were suppose to go with us next weekend but they have decided not to go. Bob said he was thankful for the invite but he was going to decline. Mom knows that he must be pretty sick as he always jumps at the chance to get out to go somewhere. Mom is hoping that everyone feels better & soon. I hate seeing them all this way. I am 3 hours away but boy it feels like a lot longer than that.
The snow has stopped & the sun peaked out for a little bit today. The temps are cold though. The sun will be setting in about an hour. Maybe tonight I will get the chance to see the moon shining bright. I did see the super moon the other night. That was amazing. I tried to take pictures of it but they did not come out so I just sat there for a few minutes & admired it. I whispered to you then. I hope you heard Mom. I will whisper to you later tonight just like I always do every night. Be listening for my voice & smile a big cheshire cat smile that you used to have for Mom. I will smile right back to you. Mom is thinking that tonight will be an early night for both Mark & I. I think Mark will be sleeping before I am though. He needs the rest so I am hoping so. Other than tomorrow, the weekend should be fairly quiet. It is Superbowl Sunday. Patriots vs the Eagles. It should be a good game. Mark is rooting for the Eagles & Mom has no choice but to root for the Patriots. It is okay. I think really that all those sports are some how rigged. If the Patriots win that will be the 6th one. Don't get me wrong, I like the team I just don't really care for the QB. Mom always thinks of you though as you liked them so I have no problem taking one for the team...lol! That is about all that Mom has for you today on what has been going on & any updates that I have. I will be sure to post more when I know them. Here is the saying for the day though:
People with purpose, goals, & visions have no time for drama. They invest their energy in creativity & focus on living a positive life.
Mom hopes that tonight will be a nice peaceful evening for you doing the things you need to do & want to do. Have fun while I am sleeping. Hope that you can either visit me in my dreams or be by my side tonight. Either way, thank you my sweet precious son! I miss you so much. I love you more than anything in this world that I live in. To the moon & back & all the way around the world. You will always be my hero & the wind beneath my wings. You forever live & have a place in my heart, mind, body & soul. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. I need to get going for now though as the time is ticking & I need to get dinner for the pups & dinner going for us as well. Until tomorrow... good night & sweet dreams. Fly high & free.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here are the prayers for the day:
May God show Himself strong on your behalf. May He show you how to wisely and strategically stand in this place. May you raise your shield of faith and block every fiery arrow the enemy sends your way. May you point your sword and dismantle every enemy scheme fashioned against you. May you know God’s loving and intimate presence right here, right now. And may you experience firsthand how mighty, how powerful, and how faithful He truly is. God is mighty to save, He’s with you in battle, and He’s equipped you to win. May blessed and nourishing sleep be yours tonight!
There's an appointed time for every God-given breakthrough. Jesus knows when your accumulative prayers will make the most difference. He knows when your long-awaited breakthrough will bear the most fruit; He knows when your blessing will not be a burden. May you trust Him in the meantime. You've things to do in this season: Rest. Wait. Trust. Obey. Give thanks. Enjoy joy. And walk forward in faith. Breakthrough is on the horizon. Listen for His voice and do what He says this weekend. Bless you.
