Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing okay. A little better but not 100% just yet. Maybe with some good solid sleep tonight I will be back to myself tomorrow. Well..... Mom is sorry to have to tell you that the Patriots lost the Superbowl last night. For most of the game they were losing & then 9 minutes left in the 4th quarter, for the 1st time in the whole game, they were leading. We really thought they were going to pull if off but the Eagles got a touchdown just 2 minutes left of the game. They basically just ran the clock down to where the Patriots couldn't really do anything to score. The Eagles looked really good & deserved to win that game last night. To say the least all my friends who are Patriots fans are really quiet today & saying nothing about the game. It is super quiet where Mom lives as well. Unfortunately there are a lot of people that take these games to heart. For Mom they are all in fun. I really don't care who wins or loses as it does not effect my life personally. The last thing I will say about the game is that I think it was fun to watch & we shall see what happens next year for the NFL. There has to be winners & losers to all the games. That is just the way it is!
Last night Mark & Mom skyped with Tubal & Karen. They looked good & not so tired. They are always busy with work though. It is such a shame. Her Mom is still in hospice. She was saying that she doesn't know why she is still hanging on for but there is a reason. Her Mom still has things to do & a purpose for not letting go. I just hope she is not in any pain but by the sounds of it she is not. Bless her soul. what a strong lady. Karen was saying that she will be 89 years young on February 19th. Maybe she is waiting for her Birthday. The rest of the night was quiet. Mom still didn't feel all that well so I just watched the football game & then went to bed when it was over. I was up early this morning. Mark fed the pups & got the coffee going for himself & I woke up around 7:15 am. I was up & started to get things done... I made breakfast, did the dishes, gathered the garbage, packed the pups stuff for Friday, packed all my stuff for Friday, packed the miscellaneous stuff we need as well & then took a shower & got ready & took the pups for a nice walk. When all that was done, I chatted on the phone with Chris & now Mom is writing to you. I did not take the time to study today but I got everything done that I needed to today so I will have plenty of time to study this week before we leave! Mom is hoping that come next week I will be starting the final exam so that I can finally be done! Fingers crossed that I do well! Mom can't believe that it is already 3:45 pm. Today flew by so fast. Mom has to go out in the morning for a couple of hours to get her nails fixed & then home to study the rest of the day. Tonight will be an early night for me that is for sure. Hoping to get some good rest so I can be up early & out the door. Please be with Mom tonight if you can. Thank you my sweet precious son. Everyone else is doing the best they can. Grandpa is feeling better, Debbie is on the mend, Meme is all better & Bob is on the mend as well. Please watch over everyone for Mom. I really appreciate it so much, Tyler. I love you. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. You are my hero & the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be in my heart, mind, body & soul. That is all the updates for today for you. Here is the color meaning for the day. Today the color is Orange: Flamboyance, determination, warmth, success, stimulation, confidence, friendliness & courage are all positives for this color. The negative to the color orange is: ignorance & sluggishness.
Here is the saying for the day: Remember you are in control of your thoughts & how you feel. Choose happiness. Choose positivity over negativity....choose laughter over anger. Choose to smile. Choose to live with more joy. The choice to be happy is all yours!
Mom is hoping that your evening tonight will be all that you need & also be all that you would like it to be. Have fun & fly high while Mom sleeps tonight. Come visit in my dreams if you can. Mom will light another candle for you tonight & I will whisper to you as I always do. Smile for Mom & I will smile for you as well. I miss you so much. More than words can say. I need to get going so that I can get dinner prepped & in the oven to cook. Tonight it will take a little longer as Mom is making her homemade meatballs for meatball grinders. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you though. Until then..... Good night & sweet dreams my bright shining star. I love you unconditionally.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the pray for the day:
May you see the wisdom of cultivating a heart at rest though many are caught up in the chaos of the culture. May you notice the holy-ground moments when God’s movement in our midst is tangible. May you take off your shoes, though others race right past you. And today, may you become so assured of God’s presence and His love that when others encounter you, they’re compelled to look up and seek Him for themselves.
He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.” (Psalm 46:10 NIV).
