Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? Mom is doing okay but I am dang tired again! For the 3rd night in a row, Mom has gotten very little sleep. I am in need of some really bad at this point. I am crossing my fingers that sleep will happen tonight for me. I was up at 6:30 am and feeding the pups, making the bed and getting ready. Mom needed to be down and ready and out the door by 8:15 am to get to the RMV to register my vehicle. I was there at 8:30 am and there was already a line waiting outside. I think I was maybe the 25th person or so I thought. When I got my ticket and got inside I noticed there was about 30 people sitting and waiting. Mom sat there and waited until her number was called and then I was out the door in less than 10 minutes. Mark was at PT this morning so I decided to surprise him there. We got home around 10:30 am. We calmed the pups down and then made something to eat. Mark went right to work and Mom did a few housework chores. After that was finished, Mom was able to come into the office and get some things done. I had a lot of things to look up for Meme, Grandpa and Debbie. I was also lucky enough to chat with Auntie Kristina this afternoon. Now that is all finished, I am able to write you your letter for today! Mark is on a conference call and has been for the last 3 hours so this is perfect timing for me.
Last night Mom had a chat with your Dad. I was surprised but it was nice. He seems to be doing well or I think from what he said. He is in Iowa for another year and then he moves on to another location for his job. I guess Amy and the kids are still in California. They are not with him. He said he sees them maybe 2 times a year and that is it. The rest is skyping with them. He has changed in features so much. He looks to have gained some weight which is a good thing. He is still bald and he grew a mustache/goatee that he can now put into a ponytail. He is gray. He is a total biker guy now. He rides a Harley. So different from when he lived around here. He said that now that he has internet back and a phone he will keep in touch more. We talked about you too. It was nice. Your Dad misses you, Tyler and I truly believe it. Mom misses you the most though. I will keep you posted when I hear from him though. I know you watch over him so you know how things are.
Mom also chatted with Grandpa and Debbie last night. It was a called that I owed them and we were going to chat about so many things but we didn't get to because their phone needed to be charged. Mom was a bit annoyed at that because Debbie was supposed to put it on the charger so it would be fine for the call and she never did and Grandpa was working. This happens a lot. Mom let it go quickly though because everything that I wanted to tell them could wait for a bit. No biggie. I just wanted to keep them in the loop of everything and not feel left out. The rest of the evening was just chilling and watching TV for a bit. Mom was in bed at 10 pm. Looks like tonight will be dedicated to relaxing and going to bed early so Mom can try to get some good sleep tonight. Mom will light your candle in a little bit. I will whisper to you like I always do each night as well. Smile when you hear my voice and I will smile right back to you. I will be back again tomorrow with another letter to you. For now, Mom needs to get a few more things done before I turn my computer off for the day. Tomorrow will be a day of getting back to studying so that I can take my final exam either this week or next week. We will see how things go. Mom will keep you updated on that as well. I miss you so much my sweet precious son. I love you more than anything. To the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are Mom's hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes... good night and sweet dreams later.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
“The time has come,” he said. “The kingdom of God has come near. Repent and believe the good news!” Mark 1:15, NIV
Lord our God, we come into your presence and bow down before you, the Almighty. We come before you and repent, believing in you and in your will to save us. Your will to save goes out over the whole world, over the whole godless world, that all may repent and be redeemed. Grant us the thoughts of your heart so that we may begin to understand your will. We dedicate ourselves to you, the holy, just, righteous, and merciful God. Grant that we may be your children, led and guided by you every day. Turn our hearts to you so that you can make us more and more as you want us to be. Turn our hearts to you until your goal of atonement and redemption is reached through the quiet working of your almighty power. Amen.
