Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this very rainy Thursday evening? It is already 5 pm and Mom has got quite a bit accomplished during this day. I have been up since 7 am but I really only got 3 hours of sleep. Mark was up until 1 am watching TV and then he was snoring the rest of the morning. He must have slept in a wrong way because he woke up very sore and barely moving. He stayed still in bed while I fed the pups and got fresh coffee going for him. He hadn't looked that bad since he first got injured. Mom thinks it was because he tried to lay down flat and he hasn't been able to do that in over 3 weeks. He stayed that way for about 3 hours. Guess he will be sitting up slightly tonight. I guess he must be feeling a bit better now because he worked all day and was on the phone for about 6 hours with 2 customers. It was crazy. Mom got tired of listening to it so I put my head phones on...lol. So while Mark was working, Mom did the following... I mopped, vacuumed, made Mark breakfast, made myself breakfast, got ready, did laundry, folded it and put it away, made the bed, made 2 dozen cookies (oatmeal/chocolate chip and Molasses), did the grocery shopping, paid the bills that needed to be paid. Now I just got the pups fed and they have full bellies and I got dinner prepped for Mark and I. Finally I can finish my letter to you!
Mom is so sorry that I didn't write to you yesterday. I had every intention to do so but Mom was either emailing the realtor or talking to her on the phone all day yesterday and even up until 10 pm last night. Every time I went to do something I was interrupted by her. Mom is not complaining at all because she is motivated and eager to help us. It is her professional and if things work out she benefits from it too. She is very organized and precise. Both Mark and I like that a lot! We did not hear anything today so I guess no news is good news. Mom will update you on everything as I know of things. Maybe we will hear something tomorrow or the beginning of next week. Neither of us have ever done this before so we don't have a clue to how long these things take. We are crossing our fingers for good news though or some good news at least.
Last night was pretty quiet in between the emails and calls. Mom spoke to Grandpa for a bit and that was it. Didn't hear anything from Meme and I haven't spoken to Aunt Beck in about 1 1/2 weeks now. Still have heard nothing from Bean. It is a bit disappointing but nothing I can do so oh well. I don't ever hear from anyone up in NH that are suppose to be my so called friends. I do get a text a couple times a week from Kristi to see how Mark is doing and how everything else is going but that is it. She has been doing that now since Mark was sick. She really is sweet and probably one of my only true friends that I have. I know I have a couple more but I always thought I had more. Anyways.... the rest of last night was watching TV and then Mom trying to sleep while Mark was awake. That did not go over well. I am hoping for some serious sleep this evening. Mark and Mom will be eating dinner and then watching TV as we have a show that just started back up last night. We taped it because it came on at 10 pm -11 pm. It is called Krypton and you would have loved this show so much. It is the back story on Superman and his family. It is really good. Mom has turned into such a geek...lol! Mom loves all the super hero shows. There are so many but a couple of them are going away after this next season. 2 already went away. They don't start back up until the Fall in October I believe. Mom has a feeling that you are not missing any of the movies or shows because when we are watching them, I bet you are right by my side. I wouldn't want it any other way either. I miss you my sweet precious son. I love you tot he moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you will be inside my heart, mind, body and soul. Mom will light the candle for you tonight and I will whisper to you later. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I will also be back tomorrow afternoon with another letter to you. Mom has to go register her vehicle in the morning while Mark is at his PT appointment. We both will be back in the afternoon. It is always a fun time waiting for that kind of stuff especially in a city where you can wait for up to 4 hours to be called....ugh! At least the weather will be better. It will be dry and in the upper 70's. Today we have gotten heavy rain and wind and the temp is only 57 degrees. Tonight it will be in the 40's. Just crazy because in 2 days it will be in the 80's. Gotta love the weather here.
Mom needs to get going so that I can finish dinner for Mark and I. It will be done in about 15 minutes. Have fun tonight doing all the things you need to do and want to do while I sleep. Come visit in my dreams if you can. You know Mom loves that. Please continue to watch over us. Thank you. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams later.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
I do not hide your righteousness in my heart; I speak of your faithfulness and your saving help. I do not conceal your love and your faithfulness from the great assembly. Psalm 40:10, NIV
Lord our God, in the grace of Jesus Christ we turn to you, our Father in heaven and on earth, for we know your truth and your saving power. Grant that all may learn to look upward to you in faith and in trust that your will is being done on earth, even though so much seems to be the work of humans alone. But your will is behind everything and we put ourselves under your will. We hope in your will. In your will we are certain that everything will be made right and good, to the glory of your name. Amen.
