Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Sunday evening? Mom is sorry that I did not write to you yesterday like I said I would but Mom was pretty tired and didn’t feel all that well. I stayed in bed until 11 am and then got up and basically did absolutely nothing. I chatted with Meme on the phone for a bit but that was it. Last night Mom watched tv for a bit and sleeping by 10:30 pm. Unfortunately I was not able to get a lot of sleep last night because of the pups being scared of the rain, plus something was going on with the police, fire, ambulance in the next building. I was awake more than sleeping. Tonight we were supposed to Skype with Tubal and Karen but they got in touch with us earlier and that is not going to happen because they are in West Virginia. Mom will be calling Grandpa because I owe them a call tonight but Mom will be in bed early. Mark will be visiting with his friend, Rick this evening so that will be quiet for Mom. I have to be up early in the morning to spend the day at the RMV to register my car. Not looking forward to that because I will be there for about 4 hours do I will be wasting my day away going there. Not cool but has to be done. I will be up and ready by 8 am and out the door and waiting by 8:30 am to get a descent time slot for when they open at 9 am. Mom will fill you in on all that on tomorrow’s letter.
 Today is June 16th and it is Father’s Day. I saw that your Dad posted something on Facebook about Grandpa Ed. Boy has he changed. There was a picture of him and a friend and Mom didn’t recognize him at all. I have reached out to him a couple times to say hello but never heard anything back. Guess he is living in Iowa until next year. Don’t think that Amy and the kids are with him because all his pictures are him riding a motorcycle and being at a bar. I am sure you watch over him like you do Mom and our family. I hope he is happy and doing well though. Mom called Grandpa and Bob to wish them a nice day. Grandpa worked and Bob relaxed most of the day. His daughter I guess wrote something on Facebook that really hurt him. I felt bad for him but I also said I was not going to get in the middle of it. Mark and Mom went out for a bit to run errands and then came home. I put everything away and then chatted on the phone for a bit. Mark ran to go grab dinner for us so Mom is writing yo you while waiting for him to get home. Your candle 🕯 is burning bright for you right now. Mom will whisper to you later tonight so smile when you hear my voice and I will smile back to you my sweet precious son. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you sometime in the afternoon. I sure hope you have fun tonight while Mom is sleeping. If you can, come visit me in my dreams tonight. You know Mom likes it when you  do that. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Mom is writing to you on my cell phone so I won’t be able to write the prayer of the day or do pictures but I will double up on them tomorrow. I wanted to write you a small letter tonight instead of missing a second night. I know you understand. Thank you pumpkin. Please continue to watch over us all. It means so much to Mom that you do. Mark will be home with dinner very soon so I am going to go for now but again, Mom will be back tomorrow so until then... good night and sweet dreams.
