Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom has been very productive this morning and this afternoon! It is 2:41 pm and I have been a very busy gal all day long. I have been getting everything ready for Meme, Bob, Grandpa and Debbie to arrive tomorrow morning. Grandpa called last night and said that he watched the weather and it was a g! Mom was so super excited about it. I squealed...lol! I can't wait to see them all as it has been almost 4 months. They will not be here very long so Mom is going to take the quality time and cherish it while they are here. It will be the first time they all see the new apartment. I hope they like it and like how I decorated it. I don't really think that we are doing all that much while they are here but I am sure that going out to eat, going shopping and playing poker will be happening. It will be lots of conversation, visiting and laughs. I know you will be around us all so send those signs so Mom can thank you.
It is already 3:15 pm and Mom is finally finished up with all the housework today. I was able to clean both bathrooms, mop the floors, vacuum, dust, do the garbage, breakdown about 12 boxes and I rearranged a couple things as well along with making breakfast and doing the dishes, etc... oh yeah I also did the grocery shopping, paid bills and got the budget for December all set. Today is the last day of November. Tomorrow is December 1st. That is super hard to believe but it is. The weather looks good for us with sun, clouds, rain, wind but no signs of any white stuff until next Saturday evening into Sunday and then we may get 1-3" so that is not bad at all. It will be the 2nd week of December so it is expected this time of year. Mom was just looking at the Old Farmer's Almanac and it appears that we will be having a milder and rainier winter than snow. Mom is okay with that. Yes, we will get snow but not as much as normal and rain will follow it and possibly melt it away. The Spring appears to be much rainier than normal and next Fall will be cooler and more drier than normal. I think I will like this winter after all. The temps will be bitter cold though but I am okay with the cold! It will be interesting to see how accurate it is. Mom will keep you posted. Mom has been collecting pictures of puppies and Christmas ones for your letters each day. I have several already and I have some already for January with wintery scenes in them. These new pics will start tomorrow. Mom needs to still do a few things before it is time to start the night routine for us. I want to take a hot shower and relax a bit before feeding the pups and getting dinner ready for us tonight. I also want to get a really good nights sleep so that I can get up early tomorrow morning and make some muffins for everyone when they arrive and also write to you before they get here so I don't have to skip a day but if that doesn't happen and time gets the best of me then I will make sure to either write you a quick letter when everyone goes to bed or I will write a longer letter to you on Sunday after everyone leaves. Mom will have some cleaning to do after everyone is gone...clean bathrooms, laundry but I can do things while the laundry is going. Tonight will be an evening of watching a couple Christmas movies and then going to bed! Nothing much but cuddling and relaxing. The sun was out earlier but it has gone down already. It says that we could get some sleet around 5 pm. The sunset sky last night was so pretty. It was a pastel and looked like multi cotton candy. You were very busy with those brushes and it was such a sweet surprise for me. Thank you my sweet precious son. Mom doesn't see the moon shining bright from the new place. I am not sure where it is hiding but I do look nightly. I have the candle burning for you already and the Christmas lights are on and twinkling bright. Mom will be sure to whisper to you this evening before I go to bed. Make sure to smile when you hear me and I will smile right back to you. I love you with all my heart and soul. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are inside my heart, mind, body and soul. I hope you have a good night and have some fun. Come visit if you can. Mom needs to go for now but I will try to be back with another letter in the morning but again, if not then I will be back on Sunday with one. Until then...good night and sweet dreams later my sweet precious son. I miss you more than words can say.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
Shout for joy to God, all the earth! Sing the glory of his name; make his praise glorious...Come and see what God has done, his awesome deeds for mankind! Psalm 66:1–2, 5, NIV
Lord our God, let your miracles be done among us, and bless us through your deeds. Bless us in Jesus Christ, the Savior of so many people. May your kingdom come to us and at last bring the great miracles that carry out your will and that do what is pleasing to you. Lord God, Father in heaven, we praise you! In you we live, in you we believe, in you we hope, in you we want to live day by day and hour by hour. May your name be honored among us, for you are our God and the God of all the world. Let your light shine among all people so that many millions and whole nations may glorify your name, for in the last days the nations shall come and worship you. So protect and bless us today and in the coming time, and again and again let something happen to bring us new life and strength. Amen.
