Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Sunday late afternoon? Mom is doing okay today. I am so sorry that I did not write to you yesterday but Mom never got on her computer yesterday and honestly with no excuses I was just lazy. The last 3 days Mark and I have done absolutely nothing at all. We have done things around the apartment, watched movies, football, etc and then gone to bed around 10 pm or so. I have to say it has been really nice. Today, Mom went and had her nails done and then we went shopping. We got the groceries we needed for the week and then decided to go peek around for Christmas shopping but didn't do so well there. It was just fine though because we had fun just looking around. We got home around 3:30 pm, Mom put everything away and then decided to start on prepping the dinner stuff. I fed the pups at 4:45 pm and we were eating by 5 pm. Dishes are all done and we are ready for our skype call in less than an hour with Tubal and Karen. It has been about 5 weeks since we chatted with them so it will be nice to catch up on things there. Meme called this afternoon. All is well there. She seemed like she was in a good mood so that was great. I will touch base with Grandpa and Debbie later this evening to say hello. I will fill you in on everything on tomorrows letter to you.
The weather today was rather gloomy and gray. It was raining again. The weatherman was saying last night that from September to now we have had 49...well 50 now days of rain and half of the other days have been cloudy with no sun. That means that out of 86 days 50 of them have been rain, 18 of them have been cloudy and 18 have been sunshine. That is just the count for the Fall season. April-July was just as bad. everyone here is just wanting sunshine. We at this point don't care about the cold weather...we want the sun! It is suppose to rain the next 2 days as well. Wednesday we will have some sun shining. Mom will be waiting for that!
Tomorrow is Monday and the 4 day holiday weekend is over. Mark is back to work and Mom will be back to studying and getting this class over and done with. Should be done by the end of the week. Next class is Pharmacy Tech. That should be a fast class but very informative. after that just 3 more to go. The goal is to be done by the end of the year! That means Mom has 5 weeks to complete them all. Be with with my sweet precious son. Thank you.
Not much else is going on at all. Tonight will be the skype call, chatting with Grandpa briefly and then relaxing and watching a Christmas movie and then bed. Morning will come pretty quickly so..... Mom has a candle on for you and I will whisper to you later. Smile for me and I will smile for you. I will be back in the afternoon to write to you more. Right now I have to get going because I have a few things to do before that skype call and that starts in 40 minutes. I sure hope you have a wonderful evening doing all the things you need to do and want to do. Have fun while I sleep tonight. Come visit or sit near me so that Mom can get a good nights sleep. I need it. Thank you pumpkin. I miss you and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my superhero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever in my heart, mind, body and soul. Until tomorrow comes.....good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is today's prayer:
The Lord reigns, let the earth be glad; let the distant shores rejoice... The heavens proclaim his righteousness, and all peoples see his glory. Psalm 97:1, 6, NIV
Lord our God, we turn to you, for you are our help. Hear our prayer, we beseech you; let our cry rise to you so that you may send your mighty help in our generation. Continue to protect us from all evil, from death and destruction. Protect us because we are your children. As your children we turn to you, the almighty God, who can make everything work together for good. Be merciful to us, O Lord God. Help us for your name's sake. Help, Lord, for you alone can bring everything to a good end. So we stand before you in Jesus Christ, holding to every word you have given us and knowing for certain that you hear us. Amen.
