Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Friday afternoon? Mom has had better days. Lately I have just been stressed out to the max. It just seems like everything is fallen apart all at once again. Mom is sorry that I did not write to you yesterday but I was so busy with doing all kinds of stuff that needed to get done that I lost track of time. Mom never got to feeding the pups until 5:30 pm and Mark and Mom never ate dinner until almost 7 pm. I tried to study but that was a bust. I am just so upset with my instructor and the college right now that I need to take a day off and not do it and regather myself. I sent another email to the instructor 2 days ago and she still has not gotten back to me. I have questions that need to be answered and they are suppose to get back to you within 24 hours but that is not happening. Monday I will be calling them because it is such a short week due to the Thanksgiving holiday. Mom just wants this class to be done and over with...period! Lord, give me strength to finish it up! I am so close to finishing and I just want to be done. Thank you!
Well, it is official.... the first snowfall came yesterday. It started around 6 pm and the ground was covered by 8 pm. That never happens during the first snow. We ended up with 4" of snow and sleet and rain after. The plows were out all morning long which kept Mom awake. I was up at 12 midnight, 2 am, 4 am and then feel asleep at 5 am until 8 am. To say the least I am tired and it will be to bed early tonight for sure to get some rest! The rain pretty much washed all the snow away but we still have about an inch left. It will be gone by tomorrow when the sun is out. That will be nice. No snow is in the forecast for the next week so Mom is a happy girl! NH got about 6" of snow and I guess it was pretty terrible to drive in. Mom will call Meme later tonight to see how she is doing as I know she hates this kind of weather. Mom spoke to Grandpa last night. He was all set with the weather coming and he was ready for it. Things are okay on their end. He sounds tired and something is going on with his hand. It is all swollen to where he can't make a fist. He went to the doctors and they put him on some medicine. Hopefully soon it will be better. Debbie is still working but really dislikes it. It seems that now that she is back to work everyone is slacking off and she is busting her bum to do it all. She is such a hard worker. She also just found out that not only does she have to work Thanksgiving day but also Christmas, New Years Eve and New Years Day night. That is awful. I feel so bad. We are staying home for Thanksgiving but we are planning on going up to NH for a day for Christmas. Mom will keep you posted to that as it gets closer. Mom purchased the first Christmas gift of the season as well. I wanted to before next week so that I didn't take the chance of them selling out. It was for Mark and I think that he will like it and also you would definitely approve of the gift! I know you know what it is and I am not going to say on here just yet though. I will when Christmas is here and he unwrapped it!
Today has been a weird day. Mark and Mom have been up since 8 am and Mark has been working. Mom did a bit of rearranging of things in her office and the 2 hall closets. Now that everything is unpacked, Mom is starting to move things around to have it make better sense. We love the new apartment though. We love the spaciousness of it all. This weekend we are going shopping and we are getting the things to put our pictures and stuff on the walls finally! Mom has everything all set to go..we just need to do it. We will go out Saturday and Sunday we will be staying in as it is going to be another crappy day. Mom is thinking of decorating for Christmas on Sunday. I know it is a few days before Thanksgiving but that is okay by me. we decided that we will hang the stockings and put the tree up but that is it. Mom is not going to put the rest up this year as we lost the table that I put it on last year. Its okay though. Next year I will. I will take pictures of it and post it on here for you. Mom misses you decorating with me. It was our thing for every holiday. I miss you. I miss it all. Every day of every year since you have been gone. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my superhero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are inside my heart, mind, body and soul.
Aunt Shirley called me this afternoon with some very sad news. You remember Larry, her late husband (of course you do...you loved Larry and you are together now with Great Grammy) well, his son, Chris I guess has been sick the last couple of weeks. He went to Valley Regional and the doctors didn't know quite what to do. They never admitted him when they should have but yesterday he was at work and a co-worker of his found him on the floor. They had to call his wife, a friend of Mom's to tell her that her husband had passed. Chris was a caring and wonderful man just like his Dad. I hope that him, Larry and his Mom are now reunited once again. May he R.I.P. for eternal life now. He will be missed.
Mom needs to get going. I have groceries being delivered this afternoon...anytime now and I am not even ready. Glad Mark is home...lol! Mom is going to go jump in the shower though just incase. I will be back tomorrow afternoon when we get back from shopping. I will whisper to you later and I have the candle lit already for you. I sure hope that your night will be filled up with all kinds of fun things to do. May you get to do all that you want and need to. Come visit Mom in my dreams tonight if you can. Please watch over us. Thank you. Until tomorrow comes...good night and sweet dreams later my sweet precious son.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
PS. Mom is going to post a prayer for the day instead of writing one out.
