Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Wednesday afternoon? Today is the day before Thanksgiving. The big day is tomorrow and Mom is looking forward to doing nothing at all. I will make brunch and dinner but that is about it. It will be a sunny day here but very cold and windy. Today is actually sunny and cold as well. It sure is nice to see the sun shining for a change!
Mom wanted to write to you now because I am going to be doing some housework right after before it gets dark. I need to dust, fold laundry and the vacuum. After that it will be pretty much time for me to feed the pups and then start dinner for mark and I. He is busy working. Poor guy never gets a break! I bet that he is looking forward to his 4 day weekend. He is booked solid for the whole month of December as well so he will be looking forward to the end of next month too! In just 9 days it will be December. Mom is already compiling pictures for your letters daily that match the month. Last year I did a countdown to Christmas for you. I might do that again but I think I will also post pics of holiday traditions as well. I think that you will like them all no matter what I do. Mom is always thinking of you. I miss you so much. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my superhero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you are in my heart, mind, body and soul. I hope you always feel that deep in your soul. You were and always will be so loved by so many!
Last night Mom chatted with Grandpa for about an hour. Things are okay with him. He was saying that they got 4" of snow yesterday from that storm so he got his exercise in. He was saying that there is another one coming next week as well. This is becoming a pattern. So far the last 2 weeks we have gotten storms and next week will be the 3rd right in a row. I can see how this winter is going to be. The Farmer's Almanac seems to be true yet again for this year. It starts a brutal winter and freezing cold temps. Not a good combo but there is nothing that can be done so Mom will not stress over it at all. Grandpa was saying that his hand is better finally but gets tight and sore after he works. I sure do hope that he seriously decides to retire now. He needs to. I spoke to Meme this afternoon. I asked her about the episode with her last week. She was saying that she didn't know what happened. She did however tell me that she is really tired all the time and that she is getting to the point where she can not drive when it is dark. I think it is the time to have a chat with her and have her also seriously think about retiring. She can't keep doing what she is doing. She eventually will be hurting herself and perhaps others as well. Mom plans on talking to her this weekend about it. Other than that nothing else is new for updates. Mom will make sure to call Aunt Beck, Grandpa, Meme, Aunt Shirley and the rest of the family tomorrow for Thanksgiving. Then I will have updates for you definitely. Mark will call his side of the family too. Lots of chatting on the phone but it is worth it. I know that everyone is disappointed that we are not traveling up there but we need to have a break as well. We can't always be the ones traveling on the holidays. We will be for Christmas though. It will be nice to see everyone seeings how it has been almost 4 months. I miss our family very much. That is the downside to living out of state. At least it is closer than Texas. Anyways... That is about all that I have for you today for the letter. Mom needs to get going on this housework stuff and also take the pups for a walk. I need to do it during the daytime so that I can see what the heck I am doing. Mom will be back tomorrow with another letter to you in the morning. I have the candle burning now and I will whisper to you later tonight. Come visit me if you can. I would love that. Have fun while I get some sleep. Until tomorrow comes.... good night and sweet dreams later. I love you pumpkin!
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!

Here is the prayer for the day:

Accept salvation as a helmet, and the word of God as the sword which the Spirit gives you. Do all this in prayer, asking for God's help. Pray on every occasion, as the Spirit leads. For this reason keep alert and never give up; pray always for all God's people. Ephesians 6:17–18, TEV
Lord God, whose might is over all the world, over heaven and over earth, we want to find strength in you, for you have given us thousands of proofs that you are with us, helping in all that happens. And when we meet with difficulties, we want all the more to find strength in you, we want all the more to hope in you and await your victory. Let your light shine into everything, in life and in death. For yours is the kingdom, the power, and the glory for ever and ever. Amen.
