Hi pumpkin! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Today is flying right by that is for sure! It is already 3:15 pm and Mom has done nothing at all really today. I was up at 7 am feeding the pups and getting things ready for Mark. I lounged in bed for an hour and then got up, got ready, made the bed, gathered the trash up, vacuumed the floors and headed out the door for Mark's PT appointment. We didn't get out of there until 12 noon and got home around 1 pm. We had some lunch and then Mark went to work and Mom came into the office to try and study but that did not happen again.... Aunt Beck called and we chatted for quite some time today. We actually just got off the phone about 10 minutes ago. Mom had another phone call to make and an email to draft before I started writing to you today. That is all finished and now I write to you and then head off the computer for the day and get ready for the night routine stuff and relax for the night. Mom and Mark were able to get some sleep last night which was nice but after the day of listening to all the noise on the roof we both had such headaches that would not go away. I can tell you that it didn't take long to get another one this morning again when they started at 8:30 am. I will be so glad when they are finished in our building. We can't park in our driveways or anything because it is all blocked off. It is just nuts. We are hoping that tomorrow it will be quieter for us and not so much noise. The weather has been really good for the roofers though. It has been sunny both days and in the low 70's. Such great weather...not hot at all. I am sure they are enjoying it. The wind is a bit breezy though today but it still is really nice. No complaints from Mom at all on it!
PT went okay for Mark this morning. He didn't say anything but I can tell he is a bit disappointed at what the therapist told him. He has some stretching exercises to do daily and we thought that he would be going once a week and they want to see him 2 times a week. That is not an expense that we were expecting at all. It will be a slow start but it needs to be that way. Mom will continue to encourage him all the time to help him out. I will keep you updated on that as the weeks go by.
My conversation with Aunt Beck was great. She is really busy with work and is doing very well for herself. Last weekend she was away working and she said that went good. She is still busy doing other things and in 8 weeks she will be getting ready to head to Italy for 2 weeks again. That is exciting. She will be going again in 2020 for work in Italy. Mom hopes to one day go to Italy but first Paris for Mom!!! Bean is doing well. Aunt Beck saw her over the weekend and she said she looked really good and she is very happy. That is all that counts! Mom also spoke to Meme and Grandpa last night. Everyone is doing well on their end. Just busy with work and every day life stuff. Mom will touch base with them again later in the week and weekend.
Tomorrow is another early day for us to be out as it is the day that Mark goes for his Holter monitor. He has to wear one for 7 days. Then on Thursday both pups have their vet visits at 9 am. I think Friday will be the only day that there is nothing to do so hopefully Mom will be able to study that day. It would be nice as it is going on week 3 of doing nothing. I really miss it but everything else is keeping me so busy that I just don't have the time to do it. Things will slow down and we will get into another routine and I will be able to study more again. I have faith! That is all the updates I have for you today.
Mom will be certain to light your candle for the night when I am down in my office. I will whisper to you again like I normally do so smile for me and I will smile for you. Please know that you are missed beyond any words that I could ever express out loud. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You will always be my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live in my heart, mind, body and soul. Have fun tonight doing all the things that you need to do and want to do while Mom is sleeping. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you. For now, Mom is going to relax for an hour before I need to feed the pups and get dinner going. Until tomorrow comes..... good night and sweet dreams later my sweet precious son. Hope I see a painting in the sky tonight...Mom will be looking. Love you bunches.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
The Lord’s unfailing love and mercy still continue, fresh as the morning, as sure as the sunrise. The Lord is all I have, and so in him I put my hope. Lamentations 3:22–24, TEV
Dear Father in heaven, we thank you for guiding us, your children, here on earth. We thank you that whatever happens to us, we can again and again find joy because you give us what is good even when times are evil and when we go through sorrow. We thank you that your goodness and your faithfulness penetrate everything, and that at last, at long last, they penetrate our hearts. Then we can know and be glad that your Spirit guides us. We can know we are never alone but can receive strength to help us in the struggle and toil of our life. Through your help everything becomes fruitful – good and evil, life and death, health and suffering. Everything must serve you through the working of your Spirit. Amen.
