Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Monday afternoon? It sure is a Monday...lol. Mom has been up since 6 am. I went and fed the pups at 6:30 am and then Mark took them for a quick walk and then I got coffee ready and then sat in the gathering room for an hour before Mom needed to get ready. We were having a cable tech out to work on our phone lines and the window was from 8 am-12 pm. He got here at 9 am. After that was done, Mom got ready, made something to eat, did the dishes, took the pups for their afternoon walk, put together 2 cubical units for Meme and Bob and know I am writing to you. It is now 4:21 pm and Mom has done nothing of what I needed to do today. After I write to you, I have to go downstairs and feed the pups and then get dinner for Mark and I and then I will be relaxing for the rest of the night.
Mom is officially moved into her new office and I am enjoying it so much. The only thing that is a bummer is that Mom realized this morning when I went to get on my computer that it was not working right. Mark took a look at it and saw that it was pretty much shot. For whatever reason moving from the nook into the new room did something to my computer. I had to go on the web and purchase a brand new one and Mom is not happy about that for a couple reasons...1. I love the one I have because it is white and now they don't offer a white computer. I had to settle on black and silver...yuck! and 2. It is just more money that we are in debt with. It sucks and it upsets Mom a lot. Mark was supportive in buying a new one but not me but I had no choice. This one is almost 7 years old. It was good to me and lasted longer than it should have. I won't get it until January 7th so that isn't for another 3 weeks. Happy New Year to Mom I suppose! I will not be on my computer all that much so I will probably be writing to you on my cell phone or iPad for the next 3 weeks. The browser is super slow and it is one that Mom never uses. I will keep you posted on things.
Aunt Beck flew out this morning and not sure if she is in Arizona yet or not. I haven't heard from her yet. I am sure that you were with her and John during their flight. I have no doubt. Not much for updates. No one has called at all. Bob goes to the doctors tomorrow. Hope there are some answers because this is getting way too stressful again. Mark is working all day and Mom will take advantage and I will be doing some housework while everyone is gone. Later I will be on the computer. I am just hoping to get some better sleep tonight than what I did last night. I know the weather is suppose to be awful all day and night tomorrow too. We are getting some heavy rain and thunderstorms. The pups will be super scared. I am hoping by night time it will be better or it will be a tough night of sleep. Help me out pumpkin! Thanks.
I sure do miss you more than words can say. I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. I will light your candle in a little bit when I go downstairs and I will whisper to you before I go to sleep tonight. Have lots of fun doing all the things you need to do and want to do. Come visit me in my dreams if you can.
Last night when Mom and Mark took the pups for a night walk it was so beautiful. The sky was clear and the stars were shining bright. It made Mom smile because it has been such a long time since I have seen them. I am hoping to see them again tonight when we go out. I will whisper to you then too. Mom needs to get going as it is getting to be that time where I need to start the night routine. I will be back tomorrow with another letter to you so until then....good night and sweet dreams later.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the daily prayer for today:
The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue, to know the word that sustains the weary. He wakens me morning by morning, wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed. Isaiah 50:4, NIV
Lord our God, we thank you for giving us the task of serving you in the name of your servant, Jesus Christ, for letting each of us have a part in carrying out your will. Keep us true to this service. We want to be faithful, always listening to you, for you open our ears and help us know your will and respond to it. Be with us in these days. Strengthen your love and compassion in all hearts. May the life of Jesus Christ gain greater and greater power in all people on earth. Amen.
