Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Saturday afternoon? Mom is doing okay. I am sorry that you didn't get a letter yesterday but it was quite the day here. Meme and Mom left at 9:30 am to go get our nails done and to go to a couple stores that she wanted to go to. We got home around 1:30 pm and was told by Mark that Bob fell out by the pool. I guess he got up, got dizzy and down he went. It was a good thing that Mark was downstairs when it happened and saw it. We spoke to Bob about it and he didn't seem to concerned at all but the rest of us were. Mark and Mom took the pups for a walk and then grabbed a bite to eat. While we were at the table deciding on what we were going to do, we heard Meme say that her and Bob were going for a short walk. The next noise that we heard was a huge bang and Meme yelling that Bob fell down. We ran in there and he was on the ground and completely blacked out. He came to and Mom told meme to call the doctors or 911 as he had to be seen. She just sat there and I yelled to her again. Finally I jumped on the phone and called the doctors and they said for him to go to the ER. I got everything ready for meme and Bob and she thought that I was taking them and I said no. She was very upset but Mom had things that I needed to do. I told her that we would be there within the hour. After I finished up what was needed, mark and Mom left and we stayed at the ER for about 2.5 hours before driving home to feed the pups at 5 pm. I called Aunt Beck, Grandpa and then Meme to check in. She said she was ready to leave and was not driving home. I said that she had to because she had her vehicle but she refused so Mark and I got back into the vehicle and we went and got her. I drove my vehicle and Mark drove hers. We were back at 7 pm. We all had a bit of dinner and then went to bed at 8 pm. Mark and I stayed up and watched a bit of TV before calling it a night. We were all up at 7 am this morning. Bob had called Meme to say that he was still in the ER and they hadn't gotten him a room yet. we all got ready and when Mom was finished I said that we could leave to go visit him and she said no that she didn't want to. Mark said that he was going to go then so he wasn't alone. That sparked something and Meme decided that it needed to be her so because she didn't want to drive herself again, Mark drove her. We will be picking her up around 4 pm. we were told that Bob has to stay for a couple more nights. He needs to go through more testing and the doctors want to look into things. Not much is being said though. Things are quiet. She said that he looks better. Color in his face and his heart rate is better. It was beating around 158 for a resting heart rate which is so high. We will know more on things when she comes back home in a couple hours. I will give you updates as I know of things. Just be with Bob please, Tyler. He needs all the help he can get. Thank you pumpkin!
Auntie Kristina's dad is not doing well either. He is still fighting for his life but the fighting is getting harder for him now. That is such sad news too. I spoke with her today. She is staying strong but it is hard for her. She is sick herself so she can not go see him. That bothers her quite a bit and I can understand why. I hope he finds the strength to continue the fight. Many prayers are being said for him and Bob.
Mom spoke to Grandpa last night. He was telling Mom that yesterday him and Debbie went out for a bit. He hit a vehicle and then while driving home, he hit a patch of black ice and ping ponged all the way over a high bridge. No one was hurt, thank God. They were shaky but okay. I told him I would call him tomorrow evening. I will keep you updated on that as well. Not much else for updates. It has been quiet here today. Mom is sorry that I am skipping days left and right but things are crazy here every day. I will do my best to figure things out and find ways to write daily. I miss you and I love you to the moon and back and all the way around the world. You are my hero and the wind beneath my wings. Forever you live inside my heart, mind, body and soul. I will whisper to you later this evening and I will light the candle for you in a little bit. Smile for Mom and I will smile to you my sweet precious son. I will be back tomorrow morning with a letter to you. Come visit me in my dreams if you can. Until tomorrow comes....good night and sweet dreams.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
Here is the prayer for the day:
In the last days the mountain of the Lord's temple will be established as the highest of the mountains; it will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it. Many nations will come and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the temple of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths." The law will go out from Zion, the word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Micah 4:1–2, NIV
Lord our God, we gather in your presence, coming from this world so full of suffering, grief, and misfortune that we could well be afraid. But we do not have to rely on this world. We can come to you, the almighty God. You are our Father, and no matter what may come, we remain your children and receive your blessing. So protect us in this present time. Even if a flood of evil seems about to break over us and our hearts are heavy, you will uphold us. You will strengthen us so that we can bear this time patiently, hoping in you and in what you do for all people, who are your people just as we are. May the praise of your name be in our hearts for ever and ever. Amen.
