Dear Tyler,

Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Sunday night? Mom & Mark just got done a skype call with Tubal & Karen. They are doing well which is nice to hear. We do this call every other week. This is a way that we keep in touch with them because they live in Ohio. Mom is so sorry that I was not able to write to you last night. Time escape Mom as we were busy during the day & then last night I was on the phone with a friend for a couple of hours trying to help them out. Tough times for them & Mom is pretty worried. You know what I am talking about.... if you can do anything from where you are please help them out. Thank you so much. Today Mom did a lot of things.... I did laundry, I dusted, I cleaned out the closet & got rid of clothes & shoes that I don't wear anymore, I made a good breakfast & dinner this evening plus Mom & Mark took the pups for a walk today as it was cold but nice outside. We watched a couple football games as well... playoff games are over. Patriots won, Panthers won, Cardinals won & so did the Broncos. So Patriots are playing Broncos & Panthers play the Cardinals. My guess is that Broncos & Panthers will be the teams in the Superbowl this year. Your Packers did really well & just lost in the playoffs last night. I was rooting for them for you. Mom would love to see the Patriots win but I know that will not happen.....well that is what Mom did today. I am quite tired as well. Guess it is due to the weather that is coming. We are in a winter advisory watch tonight into tomorrow morning. Going to be the largest snow fall this season. Mom is not smiling...lol.
I really don't have any updates for you as I did not talk to anyone really. It was a pretty quiet day today as far as the telephone is concerned. Hopefully I will have some for you as the week goes on. I do however have a couple daily prayers to write to you so here they are. January 16~ Lead me thy truth & teach me for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day. Life has made the most hopeful among us skeptical, Lord of truth. Much is bogus, making us uncertain. Thank you for the gift of doubt, for it sparks our seeking. Keep us lively & excited as we set off on quests blessed by you, heeding your advice to knock, seek & ask.
January 17~ I long to help every needy person in the world, Lord. Perhaps the most effective way to do this is by praying that you will send help wherever it is needed. meanwhile, there is my corner of the universe with its many needs. Some of these are surely within my reach: half of my sandwich to the person standing near the freeway ramp with a sign; an evening spent going through my closet & setting aside items to donate; a weekend afternoon of helping with events at my church; a monthly visit to the sick, homebound, or imprisoned. It's a privilege to honor you by extending your compassion----in person. Amen
Ok.... Mom is all caught up once again. The night sky  is cloudy & gearing up for the incoming weather that we will be getting. Retract that statement as it is snowing like crazy now......Doesn't matter though as Mom will whisper to you as I always do. Hope you can hear my voice. Mom is hoping that you will have a restful night & it is all that you need & want it to be. Have sweet dreams tonight & come visit mom in her dreams when I fall asleep tonight. Please continue to watch over us my sweet precious son. Mom always needs you by my side. Thank you so much. I love you to the moon & back & all the way around the world. I miss you like crazy, Ty. Please remember you will forever be in my heart, mind & soul. Good night pumpkin.
 Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
