Dear Tyler,
Hi my sweet son! How are you doing on this Tuesday afternoon? Mom is doing ok. The weather today had Mom smiling so big. It was sunny again, blue skies with no clouds & it was 50 degrees. It was amazing for this time of the year! Tomorrow it will be cooler with wind & rain but that is ok as long as we don't get any snow. The rest of the week is looking sunny but cooler. That's ok too. Mom will take it!
Today is Groundhog Day & Phil, the groundhog did not see his shadow so that means we will have an early Spring! This has not happened in several years! I am loving Phil today...lol. Anything that tells me that warmer weather is coming sooner is just fine by me. You know how much I hate the snow now. I have tried for 2 years to have a better opinion of it but nothing helped. I guess growing up with it for 42 years was enough for me.
Mom's day has been ok today. Mark worked from home & has been busy all day. The pups & I took a long walk & it was really nice. I enjoyed it so much. Think the pups did to as their tongues were hanging out as they were tired...lol. They came inside & rested for a bit. They are a hand full but they are cute. Mom loves them but sure does miss all our others....Daisey, Max, Snickers, Spencer, Ziggy & Snapples. I know they are all in good hands because they are with you. Mom knows that you are taking really good care of them. That makes me smile. Thank you for that. Mom & you shared the love of animals.... especially dogs!
Lets see... Mom spoke to Meme today. She indeed called me on her lunch break. She is having a difficult time right now. I know you know all that is going on so I need to not go into details. I hope that things get better & Mom knows that you are with them. Thank you pumpkin. I did not talk to Aunt Beck or Grandpa but I will probably later this evening & tomorrow. Mom really was not on the phone much which was nice for a change. I did however cook & bake a lot. Mom made from scratch homemade peanut butter cookies, 2 loaves of homemade bread & homemade bacon mac & cheese. It should be a good dinner tonight.I know you loved mac & cheese. Mom knows you would have loved Mom's. It is so nice to see tonight that it is 5pm & the sun is just starting to set. That means longer days ahead! Don't think it will be long for us to be resetting the clocks ahead again. Then you know the warmer weather is coming soon! The sky right now is beautiful. It has a little pink, purple, orange, blue & white. I bet it is even more gorgeous from where you can see it, huh?
Think that is all I have to update you with today but I do have the daily prayer to write to you so here it is. February 2~ Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands: thou hast put things under his feet; All sheep & oxen, yea, & the beasts of the fields; the fowl of the air; & the fish of the sea & whatsoever passeth through the paths of the seas. Winters can be long, Lord, as I've complained before, & hope elusive. Thank you for sending me outdoors. My spirit soars at the sight of a woodchuck waking from winter sleep. I rub sleep from my eyes, grateful for signposts of change, like paw prints in the mud, leading me to springs of the soul. Amen.
The night sky is almost upon us. I think it will be a clear night so that Mom can see the stars & moon shining above. No matter what Mom will be whispering to you tonight as I always do. Hope you hear me & it makes you smile my sweet precious son. Mom loves you & misses you more than words can say. You were & still are my world. You are my one true love.
Have a peaceful & restful night. May it bring you happiness & all that you want & need it to be. Sweet dreams, Ty. Come visit Mom in my dreams tonight as I fall asleep. Remember Ty, you are forever in my heart, mind & soul. You are Mom's true Hero & my Wind Beneath My Wings.
Always, Mommy xoxoxo. Muah!
