Dear Tyler,

Hi sweetheart! How are you doing today? Mom is doing well. Been kinda busy throughout the day here. Did some house cleaning and then I actually took down the decorations, all the ornaments and lights off the tree. That was a pain in the a**!!! The tree is still so pretty it is a shame that we have to put it outside but the needles are starting to fall and break so we can now admire it from outside instead of inside..lol :)
 The weather today was a cool 55 degrees, but sunny & blue skies... you know what that means... yup...I will be able to see a clear sky and the stars shining brightly!!! It has been awhile since that has happened so I am all smiles. I want to see you shining brightly up there in the sky!!!! Spoke to Aunt Shirley and Aunt Becky today... they were telling me that the snow is just ridiculous up there. Large accumulations and super cold. Guess it was like -1o degrees today and tomorrow it will be snow again and -25 degrees. Please watch over our family to make sure they all get to work and back home safely. I know Grandpa, Meme, Debbie, Andrea, and Bean are some of them traveling in this weather. I worry about all of them. I wish I lived closer so that I know they are ok.
 Update on Uncle Dick... he had surgery today as you probably already know. They are awaiting for the doctor to come in to say what is going on and getting info for him on the next steps of recovery. Please be with him too. 
 Not much else going on here today. Just going to get ready to have supper in a few minutes. I just wanted to write a quick letter to you first. I miss you so much and I love you beyond words, Tyler. I am doing all that I can to keep the promises I made to you for this New Year. It is an every day struggle and battle but I refuse to let it win me! I will defeat it with the help of family and friends, but mostly because of the help I will receive from you! 
 You know that I write my letters to you nightly unless I am under the weather and sick and that I give 2 to 3 quotes or pictures as well. I was thinking that I will still continue to do this but 1 of the pictures will be of puppies or some kind of animal. I know how much you love them so I thought you would get a kick out of them and it would make you smile! So I am going to start this tonight. It is a New Year so why not, right??? I hope you like them as much as Mom likes finding them for you!!!!
 Tonight I will look to the sky and whisper to you. Be listening for Mom. I hope you have a peaceful and wonderful night. Sweet dreams my precious son.
